Except he did that exactly last time Bama played in Baton Rouge and should have won the game. That gameplan worked exactly like everyone is saying it wont. Saban got outcoached that game, Bama just got the breaks on the last few possessions.

Jennings threw for 76 yards the entire game. So don't come in here and say LSU won't win if they run the ball.

Alabama is probably going to kick your arse again

You speak of this like it has great game potential, but nothing from LSU a year ago proves they're capable of being great. The returning players, sans a few, aren't great. You have some mild mannered sissy football players manning more than a few starting positions. We are meaner than you, not to mention bigger faster and stronger. Frankly I'm more worried about playing in Fayetteville

my sentiments, exactly.

Let's not act like your offensive performance had anything to do with that. You were 8/26 for 76 yards through the air and ran the ball 56 times for 183 yards (a putrid 3.3 yards per carry).

Your defense played lights out in that game.

You ended up losing the game because your offense couldn't move the football. As bad as our offense was that game, your offense was ten times worse.

L5U folks still think that they dominated us offensively in the 9-6 game.

Lots of posters in here working overtime to convince us that Bama wins easily. Just spouting bullshite about LSU sucks Bama is greatest ever, blah blah blah. No substance at all. They are replacing their players with better players and our player will get worse or stay the same. Nice projection. Not 1 practice for either team yet and the game is in November. Hmmm. Aight.

LSU fans, why do you do this to yourselves every year? Why? Every year is going to be the year that Miles beats Saban, and every year the same thing happens yet again. I will say, I admire your optimism and belief in your team, but at some point you'd think you'd wake up, see the reality of the situation, and just accept it rather than allow your hopes to get up again only to have them cruelly dashed at the hands of the Mad Midget.

Les Miles and Cam Cameron are still on staff at L5U.

Enjoy the Capital One Bowl.

No. Miles is not a good coach. Saban is.

You'll need to find a QB first, and Harris isn't the answer.

Will this game have two of the best defenses of the last 20 years?

It won't? Then the answer is no.

Coming from an outsider's perspective - Would be surprised if Alabama didn't demolish LSU this year. 'Bama defense is too good and recruiting for Alabama will fill whatever holes they have. Too tough to beat.

Well look at the units coming on paper coming into this year:

LSU has a clear edge at RB, a slight edge at QB due to experience and home field advantage.

OL is a push IMO.

Bama has the edge from what I've seen across the board on defense, at WR/TE and special teams should be very solid.

On a neutral field its probably a 7 point spread for Bama, in death valley they will likely be getting 3 or 4 points.

Should be a great one and even more significant this year because I think the rest of the SEC West will be down quite a bit.

Probably not. LSU could be good but I doubt its gonna be enough to hang with Bama. Bama may have one its best teams ever this season. LSU wil probably get by say Ole Miss but they will have their usual wet the bed against and Auburn, Arkie, Florida, etc. Somewhere along the way they will stumble and LSU's offense may be the easiest to contain in the SEC.

Alabama is going to be built again to shut down your run game. You need better quarterback play to have a chance. That's not trolling it's 100% honesty.

This might be the most logical post you have ever made in an LSU thread, and god knows you've made plenty of posts in LSU threads.
