Yep we were in Winter Park this week and even with multiple layers it was the coldest I’ve ever been. One dude on the lift with us showed me the tip of his frostbite nose because he didn’t use a gaiter. Night is no joke with the temps in the Rockies this week.

The SEC chants started around the BCS era because for years before that all we heard was how “dominant” those Big Ten teams were vs the rest of the country. Since National Champions were basically crowned from those northern based writing firms year to year, this really hurt us. Once the BCS started and started using more than bias to match our conference’s best teams together, we saw how “dominant” the Big Ten was. It was a classic us vs them.


You don’t hear that as much anymore because the rest of the SEC has Bama (and now Georgia) fatigue. And the rest of the country gets it that the SEC really is the nation’s premier sports conference so there’s no longer a need to be that way.

This really pissed me off. How can you go through the 2nd half of A&M and Bama last week and not be laser focus locked in to catch that int?! They came out lackadaisical from jump street yesterday.
