When was the last time the SEC had a player go top 10 who had a collegiate career as uninspiring as them?

Potential is a wonderful thing.

Travon Walker didn't have a particularly notable career at UGA.

Will Levis

Tied for best season since 1970s, won a bowl game.

I mean that's pretty inspiring for UK.

Sounds like you're just butt hurt mail man ain't projected in the first round

How exactly does that equate to being a top QB?

I can't think of anyone, but i would still take Levis and/or Richardson ahead of Bennett, and I think Richardson sucks.

If you drafted QBs off of college success, we’d just have a bunch of Ohio st and Alabama bust like we do every year. Levis may be a bust but he’s got just as good a chance than anyone else with his physical tools and stature

It's called size and ability
That's pretty much it.

Won't pretend he was flawless at UK and I'm surprised he's still a top 10 pick after this past season but it's not exactly all on him this last season was meh

Damn, Daniels would’ve gone ahead of Richardson

In terms of stats, nobody on our defense does.

Walker was Freshman All-SEC and grades out as one of the best DEs in the country his last two years.

Walker was definitely one of the better DL in the SEC. Richardson and Levis probably aren’t even in the top half of QBs in the SEC this year.

Bryce
Stetson
Hooker
KJ
Daniels
Rogers
Dart
Rattler

were all probably better this year

I think most teams would take B2B NC’s over having a QB go in the first round.

I never said other guys should be drafted over him. I just asked when was the last time a top 10 pick was this bad in college? It’s kind of a new territory of “potential”

I didn't start the thread complaining about other schools qbs being projected as top 10 picks, a Georgia fan did.

So your argument seems to be false

Why are you melting so hard? I’m just pointing out that Levis and Richardson are in unprecedented territory when it comes to potential vs college production.

Victim complex is never a good look

Imagine thinking I'm the one melting when a fan of a school that just won a title started a thread to complain about other schools having players projected as top 10 draft picks

Very sad imho

Not SEC, Willis was 3rd round, and Kizer was better than Levis

I've actually read enough about scouts and what they've seen from Levis that I've come around on him. He obviously has some stuff that he needs to fix and isn't an automatic, but he was severly hurt by things around him, system, pressure, drops, etc. Not sure about using a Top 5 pick on him, but I at least get it a little bit more.

The Richardson thing.............I mean it's just a total and complete gamble on the fact that you can turn him from an athlete into a QB. There weren't many examples of that happening in history until Josh Allen came around, so it is possible. And his physical gifts are absolutely nuts. But boy, that's a risk.

This is some next level coping and mental gymnastics to somehow make this about me hating Kentucky.

I’m just talking football. Sorry it bothers you
