Not sure, but Levis at this point is mostly a figment of Mel Kiper's imagination.

AR was throwing to 3 stars at best.
Stetson was throwing to 5 stars
I mean, Darnell Washington? What other 5*'s was Bennett throwing to?
McConkey was barely a 3* rated .8485. He was second in receptions and receiving yards.
His offers?
William & Mary
Vanderbilt
Mercer
Kent State
Kennesaw State
Georgia Southern
Furman
Bucknell
Army
Georgia
Again. He was 2nd on the team in receptions and receiving yards.
Justin Shorter was Florida's #2 receiver in receptions and receiving yards. Wasn't he a 5*? Just checked. He was a 5* rated .9962
Xzavier Henderson was Florida's #3 receiver in receptions and receiving yards. he was a 4* rated .9700
I think you are going to lose this one.

Levis had a better QBR than Matthew Stafford. So I guess Matthew Stafford.
QBR wasn’t even around during staffords career

Like if this was baseball, and you had to draft Levis, who was 2-5 in the season but threw a consistent 100+ mph fastball, and a Pitcher B on a NC team, who was 5-2 in the season, and threw a consistent high 80’s/low 90 mph fastball. You obviously draft Levis. I can’t explain that to UGA fans in football terms.
Nobody said Bennett should be a first rounder, and if they did they're dumb. Bennett was brought into the conversation by other fan bases. (I am guessing by your analogy you were bringing up Bennett thinking Georgia fans said he should be drafted ahead of Levis?)
I don't think I would draft any of those guys in the first 3 rounds.

No.
How does this misperception still exist?

Travon Walker. He didn't even make all sec and he went first overall. I wish we took Sauce Gardener.
His stats were pretty shitty too. He did great at the combine though as Richardson will.

If a GM drafts Richardson in the top-10, let alone the first round, should be fired on the spot for gross incompetence.
This Richardson in the top-10 talk is reminiscent of the Malik Willis talk last year. And Malik can't play.

Willis is a lot smaller than Richardson and doesn't have close to the arm strength.

QB Rating for sure was. And Levis’ is better

No but I can see why it seems that way. I’m saying that the NFL has physical traits it looks for that you can’t get around.
Their analytics, IMO, basically seem to favor a guy with Levis build (height close or over 6’4”, weight around 240, great arm strength), who will probably be less likely to bust than a guy who is further from those measurables. Let’s not use Stetson, but Bryce Young. If Levis goes before Young, I understand why. Even tho I believe Young is a better thrower than Levis, I don’t know how durable Young can be in an NFL season.

Fair, but Richardson still can't play QB

Are you confusing passer efficiency with QBR?
Posted on 1/26/23 at 4:50 pm to SteelerBravesDawg
Matt Jones was drafted in the first and ended up playing WR. I can see it.

Richardson seems like a major gamble. Levis a little less but too 10. Yikes. I’m happy the Saints don’t have a pick.

Poor franchise that gets those 2

He's played one season of college football. I think he started 13 games and 2 of them were against georgia. He beat 2 teams that finished in the top 20 and had a few other close finishes.
If i was him i would come back maybe go in the portal and get some better coaching. He could easily end up making pro bowls.
I mean really he is less of a risk than Travon Walker imo and it's not even close. I would definitely put my money on Richardson to make a pro bowl over Walker.

Ok I’ll hold your hand like a child if you’d like.
Google “Matthew stafford college stats”. Multiple sites have it. Usually next to “INT” there’s a Category titled “Rating” or “Rate”
His numbers are worse than Levis’. Thanks for playing.
