A GM, somewhere, will fall in love with the workouts of Will Levis. That GM will waste a first round draft pick.
He's a big kid, with a strong arm, that can't read left to right, or make a decision in less than three seconds. But he can throw the ball sixty yards.
Just go back, at the beginning of Kentucky's season this year, and watch his games. Particularly - watch his face mask. It goes left, or right, and stays to that side of the field.
He was a good runner. Until he decided he could run like a fullback. And his last OC told him to stop running entirely.

The Richardson thing.
I’d take him in the second round if he agreed to be a Tight End. But he never would. He could be incredible. Probably will run a sub 4.5 and is smooth in his cuts. He will of course never do it.
And I wouldn’t touch him at QB. If the guy can’t put it all together in college how tf is he going to in the league

I pray every night the Panthers will draft Richardson.

I would draft either period. GMs keep getting dumber.

Ok I’ll hold your hand like a child if you’d like. Google “Matthew stafford college stats”. Multiple sites have it. Usually next to “INT” there’s a Category titled “Rating” or “Rate” His numbers are worse than Levis’. Thanks for playing.
That is passer rating, which is different from QBR. Learn the difference and then we will have someone escort you back into the classroom.

He was pretty good against UGA this year.

I don’t need to know the difference you fricking nerd. His rating is higher than Staffords. Which is what the original post is about. You also suggested it was passing efficiency. So you’re wrong regardless. Now go beat off to some Pro football focus stats you tool

The score was 16-6. Will Levis put up six points.
Whatever NFL teams takes him ... deserves him. He'll be Prescott 2.0. He'll say everything right, every time a camera points his way. And on game day he'll give it up more than a cheerleader on prom night.

He made plays, it wasn't easy for him.

Richardson is an obvious bust.

Hopefully you finally understand that QBR and passer efficiency rating are 2 different things.

Passer efficiency:
Stafford 2008 153
Levis 2022 151

QBR is an ESPN stat.

Why are you so down on Will. He's got the physical tool.

I mean no disrespect to Kentucky fans, but Levis is the least exciting looking projected franchise QB I’ve ever seen.
Maybe he will be great, but I don’t get it.

No but I can see why it seems that way. I’m saying that the NFL has physical traits it looks for that you can’t get around.
Thsi is true, and sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don't. See: Ryan Leaf.
I just wouldn't take any of those three guys in the first three rounds personally, and certainly wouldn't use a first round pick. Picking QBs is a crap shoot at best, for whatever reason, but I also get your point. You might can increase your chances with a QB that meets certain criteria.

I understand potential and all, but I have a hard time believing in the potential of a college QB who did not significantly elevate his team. Josh Allen is the only successful NFL QB currently playing that I can think of who never made much of a difference in college and was a pure potential pick.

Just telling you right now any gm who takes those two bozos in the 1st ten picks will be jobless in 2-3 years .

Agree. The GM who picks either of these guys in the first round will be out of job in 2 years.
