Btw, I think bama wins. Harris gonna eat, Fromm has a couple of turnovers and dline wins the battle.

I feel ok about it because I think Georgia's run defense is a step below both Auburn and Clemson. And, while we didn't dominate either, we ran the ball decently against both.

However, if our QB misses every well timed big play call that ends with an open WR downfield........who knows.

When I watch bama play, the WRs look visibly mad every time Jalen misses a pass or takes off running. It might just be me, but when he finally got the ball to Ridley for the td last week, it was almost like, finally.

Nope - wasn't just you. I saw the same thing. Probably also had to do with Ridley being open 3 times on the same damn play before finally getting the pass on the 3rd one.

Frustrating.

I know Saban is trying to stay with the times, but he should've stayed with a pro style qb.

I truly think it was a matter of circumanstance. They didn't plan on Hurts playing last year, but Bateman and Barnett were so bad and Hurts showed enough of a spark that they decided Hurts was the best option. At that point, the bar is low, he showed some things as a true freshman and Kiffin made things as easy as possible. Then, what do you do? You gonna sit the true freshman that almost just won the national title and replace him with a new true freshman?

I think Tua gets a fair shake this off-season, but I do fear we have our own JT Barrett for 2 more years. And I hate saying that because I like Jalen, but it's clear he is what he is.

He can overthrow any WR in football.

This. Y'all would've won last year if kiffin would have called the championship. Kiffin must've really done something outrageous to get fired before the national championship. I wonder if it will ever come out?

If pre-FAU job Kiffin had, I agree. If Washington game Kiffin had, would have been similar.

He just was half assing it. And I don't think he was doing it on purpose, he's just a (self admitted) unorganized guy, and doing 2 jobs at once was not working at all. He was showing up 20 minutes late to meetings, calling plays in practice we hadn't run in 2 months, etc during bowl prep. Then, the Washington game was just an utter cluster of massive proportions.

It sucks, because you are right that normal Lane would have won that game. And I fvckin love him. But, once he took that job, his head was all over the place.

Hurts is a lot better than Jordan Jefferson. No comparison. It's crazy how so many Alabama fans don't appreciate him.

4 of 13 for 18 yards and 2 ints by Jay Barker won a national championship in 1992. Just saying.

This. He's a slightly above average QB thanks to his legs. What's good about him is he never chokes. The better the D the worse he looks, shocking right, but the moment is never too big for him and he never presses. I also disagree that he's necessarily hit his ceiling, but it is possible that he has. In that situation 2 more years of what he has already given us would be annoying at worst. Talk about 1st world problems.

It would be ironic if Tua comes and looks all world breaking all kinds of records but crumbled everytime it got tough. He wouldn't be the first savior that it happened too. This is exactly the reason that not every record breaking QB is a championship QB.

Make sure you don’t botch your next head coaching search by listening to snake oil salesmen like Clay travis, mmmkay?

You need to go back and look at Jay Barker and Greg McElroy stats for the national title games. Bama lost that game because of our inability or refusal to run the ball after Bo went down.

I find the fact that there are TWO terribly butt-hurt people from an irrelevant conference on an SEC board to be fascinating. The fact that their envy and jealousy pervades through every post they make is pathetic, and undoubtedly embarrassing to other fans of the teams in their conference. Surely these two clowns have been banned from their own boards, or they'd be over there involved with like-minded people. Personally, I can't imagine anyone with this little self esteem that would allow themselves to be pitied and reviled by total strangers.
