Dude you just mentioned a slew of ESPN talking heads, the Clay Travis’ of the world, Finebaum, His entire cast of freak show members, Mike Bianchi from the Orlando Sentinel, Gregg Doyle, Gary Danielson, all of the fanboys who jump around like clowns in a studio after a score on the SEC network. They are getting paid but they should be embarrassed. DispacedBuckeye and myself? We are truth tellers. We want you all to see the reality.

What's good about him is he never chokes.

He chokes every time there is an open receiver and he can't get them the ball. Hell, a lot of times he won't even pull the trigger because even he doesn't have confidence he can complete it.

Sadly, we DO see it. you're an embarrassment to your fan base, conference, and your region of the country.

Deficiencies in mechanics/accuracy isn't choking. He misses the same passes vs Vandy as he does vs Clemson. He waits too long to pull the trigger vs Fresno State same as he does vs Auburn. One has to wonder if some you guys using the word choke understand it's meaning.

But semantics doesn't really matter, does it. The simple fact is that Jalen Hurts isn't a good quarterback. He's the weak link in this team. We win in spite of him, not because of him.

Semantics??? Are you kidding me? I suppose it's possible you're just using another word you don't understand. You guys are saying he chokes. I'm saying he's a slightly above average QB playing within his limitations.

Slightly above average in the SEC is actually pretty close. Congratulations. 6th in completion percentage...

LINK

Well, or slightly below average. 8th in yards per attempt. To make matters worse, though, he...wait for it...chokes so often and won't even pull the trigger. That aside...

LINK

Add it up any way you want to. He's the weak link on the team.

Perhaps you need to get your own allies from the Tide tent in line and “soldier up” for the good of the team. You trying to poke fun at me for this thread, and it’s turned into a lot more than even I expected. Most of it coming from your fan base who see what is clear to most people with a little bit of football knowledge and two eyeballs. Hurts isn’t very good. He’s surrounded by NFL elite talent. If you can’t see it, then you are a part of the problem.

And he won't be playing against Alabama's 11' defense either, fact!

Again, being unable to read a defense quickly isn't choking it's a deficiency that is always present. Also I disagree that he's a huge liability. It's as if you guys don't even consider that he's rushed for over 800yds this year. He's weak in the pass and strong in the run. It all adds up to a slightly better than average QB. If you want to say that he isn't as good as his team then I whole heartedly agree (see below), but let's not pretend that relative to his position that he's the weakest player on the team. I would say that honor goes to Bo who is our 2nd Team RB and a below average RB with better RB's playing behind him.

Hurts= slightly above average
Bama football Team= elite
