We let A&M join the SEC.
Cant get any lower than that.
I’d trade Texas for you any day.

Let it go Texas and OU are coming.. but you are more than welcome to leave and go back to the Big 12 or wherever you want to go… I’m positive Ok St would take your place..

And I’m sure that’s exactly what Sankey told your president and AD.

I’m no Aggie but most of the real SEC (original 10 members) already regret bringing anyone in. Texas is the only media market worth bringing in. SC, Ark, Missouri, Okla? Give me a break.

A&M sure does talk a lot for a team that was a perenial loser in the Big12 and has done less with more than almost anyone in the SEC.

I always assumed it was because the LSU system was as broke as Puerto Rico State University with even lower US News Rankings. The huge surge in incremental conference revenue was desperately needed.

You think Mike Slive shoves Missouri down your throats in 2012 just because?

He added Missouri when Oklahoma did not join

If he added OU and TAMU in 2012 that got the SEC basic status in OK and TX, no need to add more. If your argument held water Slive would have added Taters or Free Shoes U long before an invite went to austin.

I know it is hard for Utx fans to comprehend but OU > Utx when it comes to overall product. SEC is no Big 8 and HQ will stay with the REC in Birmingham. Utx is like "Charlie the Tuna" thinking it is all about them. This conference works well because in the end all schools lift the conference as a whole, not just any 1 school.

Why would the SEC allow a team ranked in the top ten lose to a mid-major at home to stay in the conference?

Alabama, Florida, LSU, Georgia have been top ten numerous times in recent years and don’t lose at home to inferior opponents.

They did beat two top 15 teams and thus a Jimbo contract extension is in order.

Lol y'all really took that aggie narrative and ran with it, huh?

When has Texas come out and said "it's all going to be about us and only us" aside from a few troll posters that your old arse seems to take as gospel?

This is partly why. Rivalries and money. Texas has been hired to make us all a lot of money.

Who joins the conference has nothing to do with how good they are. You think A&M would be here based on actual results?

Probably to force you to quit playing SHSU and PV and App St. oh wait, you won’t play AppSt again.
