As far as the take , the Big 12 round robin where you play everyone every year is tougher than a schedule hand picked by the SE.c commissioner to insure 2 SEC teams come through the conference each year and also play FCS OOC and have multiple byes before rivalry games.....go ahead defend that.....lol.....

You play other Big12 teams round robin, not the teams that actually win playoff games.

SArk ( SEC coach Prepared by Saban ) was supposed to dominate last year but he found out playing a Big 12 schedule is much harder than he assumed. Sark lost to Kansas at home, lol...Sark finished 5-7. Sark barely beat KSU at home to break a 6 game conference losing streak in he last game of the season.

Espn pumps up the sec for obvious reasons. We are looking forward to being a beneficiary of the inflated ranking once we are in the SEC.....

Who in their right mind thought Sark was going to dominate last year? His nick name is literally 7 Win Sark.

We are coming in at #2 :(

Sucks cause we should have a good team but could still lose 4-5 games

OK is joining at the right time. We are not as formidable as a few years ago. Bama will have a new coach. ATM, Florida, Auburn, LSU, Kentucky, and Ole Miss will be looking for new coaches or just getting new coaches as some of those will be fired and others will take bigger jobs. Tennessee and UGA will be the teams to beat. Arkie gets exposed this coming year. Oklahoma will take advantage of all the change.

The lack of rushing defense in that game was really something.

A four point loss in 2OT, against a team that shite the bed in the championship game it had no business losing. Look, OU may have lost, but no one can say it did not belong. So that is what 0-1? Looking forward to 2023, whether we join that year or not, we are playing UGA.

oU will do fine, in the sense they will be competitive and every once in a while have a great season. But I'll be shocked if they consistently finish in the top 2 of the west.

I wouldn't be, first because if there is a "West" it will not look like it does now. Alabama and Auburn will be in the East and Mizzou will be in the West. That would make it:

Arkansas
LSU
Mississippi State
Missouri
Oklahoma
Ole Miss
Texas
Texas 8$4

Top 2 would be challenging, but ultimately doable.

Second, if its pods, there won't be a "west".. so who knows.

Why Sooners are doomed in SEC. by TigerLunatik
That MOJO clown thought that LSU only occasionally made a bowl game.

They don't have a clue what this is all about.

Obviously you LSU fans can’t read or comprehend I know the post your talking about and what I said was once every 10 years LSU is a national title threat you only show up as an elite team on average once per ten years. I know you will come back to late 2000s but that’s the only decade that that you were relevant.

Like I have said by the big 12 going 6-0 in bowl games and beating two sec programs in bowl games….. the sec is top heavy and in the last 20 years OU has only one loss to teams that were not which was ranked in the top four( Jonny football wonder year)and have beaten 80 percent of the sec teams we have played including Bama Auburn Tenn Florida . Only the top teams have beaten OU so why on earth do you think we will be shocked and awed by mid levels teams we have proved and most mid to upper level teams we have already beaten please explain this ….

There is a reason OU is leaving father conference clown abs it’s to play more quality games so we are definately not scared and won’t be shocked make sure you go back to my post and re read it again and post what you think OUs 3 years record will be becuase when LSU is consistently behind OU I want you to come back and explain how you was robbed and cheated every game like all you LSU clowns do every time you play BAMA or A@M now .

Hasn’t Oklahoma lost every big game against an SEC school for 2 decades now?

‘03 National Title : 21-14 LSU
‘08 National Title : 24-14 Florida
‘17 CFP Semi : 54-48 UGA
‘18 CFP Semi : 45-34 Bama
‘19 CFP Semi : 63-28 LSU

Yikes

Texas' losses listed by margin of defeat last season (and where those teams finished in their conference standings):

1) Iowa State - 23 (4th)
2) Arkansas - 19 (3rd in division, tied for 5th by conference record)
3t) Oklahoma State - 8 (1st)
3t) West Virginia - 8 (6th)
5t) Oklahoma - 7 (3rd)
5t) Baylor - 7 (2nd)
7) Kansas - 1 (10th)

2 teams beat Texas by double digits...Iowa State and Arkansas. Texas came a heckuva lot closer to beating Oklahoma, Baylor and Oklahoma State than they did Arkansas.

Oklahoma will have more 8-4 type seasons they we fans are accustomed to. Anyone who argues differently isn't arguing in good faith, but the idea that OU is gonna come into the league and not take a cut of flesh itself is also stupid.

Looking forward to it.

That is what Arkansas thought back in 92 and Oklahoma will struggle in the SEC. They will have good years and mediocre years.

We won the West year 3.

Doubtful Goobers can match that even in a watered-down West..
