Yes. OU loses the big games to SEC teams, and wins the ones when SEC teams didn't want to be there.
OU will win plenty in the SEC and won't be a team that's biggest accomplishment is pulling an upset against one the leagues best teams every few years. They'll lose their share in the SEC. Surprising losses to Texas Tech or Kansas State or Iowa State will be replaced by surprising losses to Ole Miss or Miss. State or aggy. OU will be OU. A CFB blueblood that has excelled for decades despite being a small state with limited homegrown recruits.

Here’s the thing. The SEC is so much more than winning a NC and it’s been a while since they won it all in the big 12, so I’m glad they are now joining the league.
All the games are meaningful, Tailgating is the best in the country. The majority of the fan bases are passionate for their school. Of course OU is not going to win the conference that often. But when the do they will have a great shot to win it all. Iron sharpens iron.
I get OU being hesitant in the past. Similar to Bobby Bowden not making the jump to the SEC. I think he stated the SEC was to challenging or it was like a meaningful bowl game every single week. Well I think that’s what makes it great.
My guess is OU will love it.
Now Texas, my guess is no. They might have buyers remorse after a few years.

what I said was once every 10 years LSU is a national title threat you only show up as an elite team on average once per ten years.

The nice thing about it is, instead of having to listen to this crap for two or three more years...
Georgia and Oklahoma are already scheduled to play a home and home in '23.
So we'll get to see who whips who's arse fairly soon.

Where? I'm pretty sure you are reading troll posts where the point isn't to point out a teams success for winning them, but rather to point out the lack of success for a certain team who doesn't have them.
The SEC created the concept of divisions leading to a conference title game. They didn't decide to change the college football landscape out of lack of interest. They found a way to make more money, obtain more publicity, and at one time, an exclusive conference playoff game.
It matters not if you like it. The recent Bama Georgia game was a success on many levels.

We could entertain a debate on whether the division conference title games are as important in a 12-team playoff, but it seems premature. The SEC conference is not crying about the publicity the SEC receives in the post regular season. In fact, they expanded to increase their advantage,
