Why LSU is our biggest rival

I'm so sick of Alabama fans saying that Auburn and Tennessee are our biggest rivals. They combined for a 8-16 record and a 1-15 conference record. They are no longer major college football programs. Neither team had a successful recruiting class (see Reuben Foster, Dee Liner, Vonn Bell, Jalen Ramsey) and don't appear to have bright futures in my opinion. LSU on the other hand has been dominant the past few years. We played them in a championship game. We've never played Auburn or Tennessee in such a game. Also they represent the exact opposite of the process. They are full of passion, we are full of discipline. Overall I don't care about beating Auburn or Tennessee anymore than I do any other school but LSU on the other hand I care about a lot.

LSU is not our rival; they're currently the second-best program in the SEC behind us, but that could easily be someone else. I will hate Auburn even if they don't win another game for 50 years.

LSU is a rival. But not like those two. I respect LSU. What we've done the past few years as two teams is incredible.

I'll give you an example; in the 50s and prior Ole Miss was our (Tennessee)rival and Tulane was our in state little brother (Auburn) but now they completely suck and aren't worthy of our hate. Sure we still say Geaux to Hell Ole Miss and they still consider us as their most improtant game of the year but seriously, they're the admiral Akbears or some stupidity, why should we give a rip..?

I don't know RT1987... I think he's an OM fan... Take a look at his abortion of a posting history... No LSU fan would ever say their stadium atmosphere ranks outside the top 10 in the nation... Seriously, it's impossible for any LSU fan to do that... Can't happen.

That is just a silly statement. Mulligan games only come along once in a blue moon.
And the Iron Bowl has meant a *lot* on many, many occasions. Far more often than LSU/Bama has historically. In 2010, it counted for a shitton. Bama was the last, best hope of stopping Cam from cashing in on the crystal. He spotted you a multiple touchdown lead and you know the rest. The irony is that Oregon will be on probation before Auburn. The NCAA ain't through with the Ducks yet.
