there's this new concept called "21st century transportation" which means we don't have to ride a horse and buggy to all converge from fair distances on the state legislative meeting in Charlottesville anymore.

Because the SEC offices are located in Birmingham?

And that's reason enough to send Yankee Sankee back up north. He's a liberal carpetbagger trying to make the SEC the Big 10 w/ his political BS. Hell, at this point i would almost welcome Roy back.

Because that is where Saban wants it to be, as it saves him travel time. While the other League coaches are flying to & fro, he's back in his office eating Little Debbies & yelling at his secretaries.

Since when is baseball tournament and SEC Office everything?

B'ham is literally in the center of SEC territory. Gas isn't going to get cheaper in our lifetimes.

Why is everything in DC? How is that fair to the west coast?

Because we were the SEC when Arkansas was still the Texas whipping boy in the southwest conference

It is probably still in Bham/Hoover rather than Atlanta because it is cheaper.

Need a decentralized office. Maybe 14 smaller offices.

But on something I really believe should happen and could, I would like to see the baseball tournament brought to campus or do a tour of the minor league stadiums in each of the SEC states.

And it's nice to see Fayetteville and the Ozarks continuing to develop with this "new concept".

Every circle needs a center. Birmingham has been the center of the SEC for a long time.

But just because something has been a certain way in the past doesn't mean it is the way it always has to be. The only other places that would make sense to move stuff is Atlanta or Nashville. Maybe those places would be OK, but I don't see what's so wrong with Hoover.

No, that's fricking stupid.

Since half the SEC fans are country bumpkins who are scared of any actual city, I vote we put the SEC offices in Evergreen, Alabama

Hear me out, it's actually perfect:

- keeps the rednecks happy bc it's country

- but still right off 65 for easy access

- freshly made off the line Conecuh Sausages all day everyday

- closest SEC school is Auburn and that is a huge logging area, so Mr. Yellawood can get the lumber mafia yo intimidate people and be the shadow president of the SEC

After that first statement, why would anybody pay even the least bit of attention to what you say?
