While Urban Meyer is considered a saint and all time great?

Meyer covered for a murderer, a rapist, and a domestic abuser and leaves every job after a few years.

Petrino just had some sex.

Why isn’t Meyer looked down on the same way Petrino is?

Yeah, I would actually rank Urban pretty high on the POS scale.

Who likes Meyer? He wins, so people will hire him because nothing has rally been associated with him. Petrino on the other hand was caught cheating with an employee, paying her improper benefits and crashing with her on the back of his hog. Doesn't get more public than that.

Many do look down on him but winning has alot to do with it as well. If Petrino had won 3 NCs, most would look the other way in regards to him.

Petrino bailed on the Falcons 13 games into a season by leaving a letter in every player's locker. He didn't have the balls to tell them in person or finish the season. It was an absolutely gutless move and it is why has never even sniffed the NFL since.

That's putting it mildly. He cheated on his wife and then gave his mistress a job in the AD.

But that's not why I wouldn't want him as a head coach. He has a tendency of leaving programs/franchises in shambles.

Different definitions of the term. Bobby has a rep of being completely abrasive to everyone he works with.

That’s a pretty ignorant take. His record with the falcons and his record since have more to do with the it than the way he left the shitty falcons. Sorry he wiped his dick off on your favorite team

The Barn could have finally sent that plane to get ole Bob instead of the guy from Boise.

Where is Bobby Lowder when you really needed his plane.

I always felt Petrino's abrasive nature must trickle down to the players very quickly. He never just tore it up on the recruiting scene. Even when he was winning big, well, for Arkansas. Never felt like any great groundswell of momentum with elite players. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to stay true to your nature.

Urban is abrasive in a different way. Recruits actually like the guy.

The Falcons went 11-5 and made the playoffs the next year. Everyone involved with that season and pretty much everyone in the NFL period thinks he is a colossal piece of shite for what he did that year.

Because urban created and fostered the evangelical preacher and saint of a man that is Timothy Tebow, who has had such a profound impact on so many lives.

Auburn didn't want him in December. Auburn didn't want him in 2012 either.
