Bama had very few players who missed any time, while most of the SEC had players out for extended time or had to cancel games

Bama has Waddle out for several weeks, Dickerson was injured, we had a starter on the O-line miss a game due to covid, we had several backups miss games due to covid.

Bama didn't publicize every time a healthy college athlete contracted covid, but that doesn't mean they didn't have cases and have those players miss games.

They also had multiple games where coaches missed (HC and assistants) due to covid.

If Saban wasn't symptomatic, he wouldn't have missed a game

Trolling? Bama had the same testing program that every other SEC team had, yet added 2 days worth of testing per week on top of it. The goal was to identify cases as soon as possible so those players could be quarantined and others not impacted.

Don't hate bc Saban had a better plan for this than your coach did.

The asterisk only applies when you try to compare yourselves to the other 100+ national champions of CFB who played an actual normal college football season

Yes, I see how that packed stadium in Knoxville has been a huge advantage for you guys since 2008. Can't imagine how different the outcome would have been this year with the stands full.

roster management is obviously a very important factor every year, and is becoming more so all the time, considering more lenient transfer rules, players opting out to avoid injury prior to nfl, etc. It's yet another example how Saban is better than the other coaches.

Alabama would have gotten an extra home game? That's usually what happens after halftime in Knoxville.

Actually without the cupcakes to pad the stats and allow players extra playing time or healing time, this season was way more difficult.

An all SEC schedule, against most teams that would have had at least 3 more wins shows exactly how great this Alabama team was.

Injuries vs Covid is two different subjects. I sure if they could they would have played an injured Waddle, oh wait.

It’s adorable you guys have to keep saying this in your head to make it seem true

You had a 3-week bye in the middle of November, give me a break lmfao

ETA: The same Bama fans that shite on the SEC, poked fun at how they were heads and shoulders above everyone this year, applauded Kentucky for fielding the bare minimum, shite on OSU’s undeserving resume.....are now acting like it was the toughest gauntlet in the history of CFB

See folks, this right here is what social media does for you.

Guarantee you he read the bolded part over on tigerdroppings and immediately adopted and repeated it even though a simple google search would have told him it wasn't true.

Because it hurts LSU's feelings. They r the only ones trying to asterisk it. It's just their insecurity and is compounded by it happening in concurrence with their dumpster (program) catching on fire.

bingo. Trying to wish away yet another title for Alabama plus an attempt to excuse the fact their team sucked so badly
