Why would the Big12 refs bail out Bama? A Texas win over Alabama in the regular season would’ve been the biggest Big12 achievement since the 2005 Rose Bowl

Mediocre B12 teams have been winning there the last decade. Not sure what the SEC issues are.

2019 game was an easy dropped TD pass from being much tighter, possibly a Longhorn win over the "greatest team ever in the history of ever!!1" 2022 game was the result of corrupt and incompetent Big12 refs bailing Bama out when we had Bryce Young sacked in the endzone for a safety.
Looks like a bunch of excuses

Good point now that I think of it. They gave Gundy the “coach of the year” over Sark in 2023
They pulled similar shite with us in basketball when we left. Our basketball team greatly overachieved expectations but since it was our last year they gave the coach of the year award to the preseason favorites
Truck stop conference. Now all the power brands have left

fair enough.. it was a great game though.. neither could stop the other in the 2nd half.. just needed 1 stop.. nope
Major thing was, Keontay Ingram dropping that wide open pass to walk into the end zone. I was at that game too in the student section.

We had a good first unit in 2018, but we didn’t have depth. Injuries piled up as the year went along. We did beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl that year, but they didn’t want to be there. That wasn’t a NC roster though.
These are two different years. He’s referring to 2019. You played Georgia in the Sugar Bowl after 2018 season.

I don't think we were gonna win any NC with Sam Ehlinger. Too many inconsistencies on that team really. Herman was an idiot and our defenses sucked and were soft.

2019 LSU got much better as the year went on. Burrow improved every week and the defense hits it stride down the backend of the season.
Yep. The team Texas played wasn't half the team they were by mid season. Really nice showing by tx for sure. They would have been creamed later in the season though.

1995 Nebraska was more dominant than 2019 LSU and they were dominating almost annually then not just one season.
Nebraska beat a loaded Spurrier UF squad which had been blowing out everyone on their schedule prior to that game, 62-24 to seal it.
That was infinitely more impressive than anything 2019 LSU did.
You people really want us to believe a Big O coached team is the GOAT just because they beat Clemson and a two loss Bama team? Some of us actually watched football back then and know the truth.
Nebraska 's closest game that year was a win by 14 points btw.

Just like you found out in College Station, playing on the road in the SEC is tough. We did it in 2019 vs a Big XII team, but any Power 4 road game is going to be tough.

2019 LSU, the best team ever, went into Texas to face a 8-5 Longhorn team. LSU prevailed in a 60 minute war, 45-38

very aggy of you to point to this as if it was the difference in the game. had he caught that we simply would have scored more points or gotten an extra stop.

Beating Alabama may not be the world-beating feat that it has been in other seasons.

UGA missing something. Leadership? Who knows, but it’s not the same.
Sure, they could put it together but the night game crowd at DKR will be rabid.
2nd time in that type of environment which should help UGA done, but it’s a huge plus for Texas, who looks better without the crowd.

Three names: Stetson Bowers Brock Bowers and Ladd Mchonkey.
You don't just replace three guys like that quickly. Tried to tell you dawg fans but you told me you would simply reload.
Most of these talented 5 and high 4 stars have little heart and are pampered primadonas.
Lance Heard, our left tackle is an excellent example. The goons need at least one high character good player to lead them.
You guys can talk trash about Nico right now, but he's a high character guy who will likely develop into a good leader and Dylan Sampson is a tremendous high character leader for us as well as Pili on the other side of the ball.
Once Nico's lights come on completely we'll be almost impossible to beat.
