What has he done that’s combative? Other than him yelling at that guard like 3 years ago what has he done that’s so unlikable?
He's won and that's pissed enough people off.
But the Holly Rowe situation was a little uncalled for and a bad look and the fact that he speaks his mind on things that other coaches don't say pisses people off. But sometimes you want your coach a little edgy so I got no problem with it as long as he wins. Which is just like any other fan base and their coach.
Look at what's happening in college station right now. It will be the same at LSU when Lane loses some games. Nobody cares if they win except the other schools.

His moral standards are pretty low if he can not see anything wrong with what Simmons did. That was pure trashy. Then again, he hires coaches who are strippers with pet monkeys.
Representing a school who is currently ranked No.1 and pulling a stunt like that is below trashy and yet he refuses to even reprimand Simmons for it. Something tells me that this is going to just make the hot seat a little hotter. Most UTrans alums are not going to like how he handled this.
