Bc they dont have a big enough fan base with money to fill it unless its the egg bowl or they play other teams with massive fan bases such as lsu or bama. Ole miss is not a big dog. They never have been and never will be. Theres nothing wrong with being ole miss or an ole miss fan. They simply need to realize their place and keep things realistic is all. Even though it is fun when they talk shite to us and all the while we know that we are going to punish them like always and destroy their dreams. They Are Ole Miss. Period.

Exactly. I’m an Arkansas fan. They think it’s some dig, I’d be more cautious with fans of better teams who probably aren’t fans.

Just me though. I get it though, I wouldn’t want to lose Lane either.

they probably have the same problem as LSU. That is people care more about the event (tailgating, after-party, social media) than the game itself.

Teams without championship expectations only go to games to party.

Elite programs like Georgia and Bama are actually concerned with the game itself

Simple, truthful answer that many might not like;
The Grove is more fun than the stadium.

Simple answer ... not being a smart arse.

They have better things to do. A nutty amount of restaurants and bars, for one thing, from what I've researched.

Oxford is right up there with Chattanooga, from what I can tell, for towns not so big to be Urban, but with a Hell of a lot of shite to do.

Ole Miss is a thing to go see, for them. Not the only thing to see.

The truth is we do fill our stadium. Here’s a look at our attendance numbers.

LINK

Our stadium holds 64k.

Versus Troy and Tulsa we put 60k people in the stands. 58k for Central Arkansas.

Kentucky and Auburn were both sellouts.

Yea but this still doesn't account for the mass exodus at halftime

Several Texas high school stadiums hold that.

Arkansas has empty seats too and their stadium isn’t all that much bigger. It is louder though

Our coach isn’t leaving and I’ve never said we’re a destination like OM thinks they are better than Auburn. I’ve even said those exact words.

I agree with you that Lane will eventually leave for a school that has more recruiting power, but I highly doubt it's going to be Auburn.

LSU and Florida were better jobs than Auburn and Lane passed those up last season. I personally think he's waiting for Saban to retire so he can go to Bama. Most Bama fans I know have told me they all want Lane next.

It's a combination of the grove and a history of being bad a football. I had a relative who went to OM... she said that football games are a time for everyone to get together and drink but they don't really care about the outcome of the game.

The square downtown is nice but it's not a city that I'd say has a "hell of a lot of shite to do" other than drink, which you can do in pretty much any college town.

The last 5 years we’ve won under 20 games, still have more fans, higher value, and more attendance. Even 2 years without an SEC win.

That article talks about total revenue compared to expenses.
Ole Miss probably just spends more. Not exactly something to brag about.

Ole miss brings in nowhere what Arkansas does and hasn’t spent shite in comparison to our facilities. Nice try.

Arkansas has about 78,000 but I can say that if it was a top 10 match up it would be at 80,000 roughly.
