NCAA says Ole Miss has one in football, and other polls give two more.
If Ole Miss used Alabama math, that would mean Ole Miss has at least 12 national championships in football.

False. The NCAA is not involved in football national championships. If you are referring to the website, they will list just about anything on there.
If you think the NCAA does, then show me the guidelines the NCAA follows to do so.
Ole Miss Claims 3 national championships in football, and Alabama wouldn't claim any of them. That said, I would love to know which 12 you think Ole Miss could claim. I'm betting you'll not be able to come even close to 12.

You have a weak sauce argument there. The SEC also recognizes one of our championships in football. But that's ok, because what you have argued is that prior to the BCS years and now, NOBODY actually won a National Title in football. Thanks for clearing it up.

There is no such thing as "recognizing" a championship.
If you think there is, then any such organization would have rules and reasons behind the logic in which they are selected.
Yet, they do not exist. PERIOD.
National Championships are awarded. And even if you only want to count from the BCS forward, Alabama still has more than anyone else.
