They've been around forever as a "Division One Program" or whatever, but you couldn't tell by looking. UCF is a more successful program than Ole Miss.

That's the saddest part of all. You really don't even win parties either.

Not at all. This is the first time I've been on this board in a minute. A response thread, yes. But not because I'm rustled. More like a counter punch.

4th and 25 and all that.

Karma for making their school mascot and identity all about nostalgia for the slavery days

Well, I mean there's that. But they're also the landshark rebel bears.

Maybe this identity crisis is responsible for their lack of success?

Must hurt for Ole Miss fans to see Arkansas being so good at everything.

I'm not seeing the correlation here. An identity crisis in mascots does not preclude a team from experiencing success

Too much confederacy in the preblack bear era for the broader amount of black athletes to attend....

Plus Its in Mississippi.

Y'all both lost to 2021 Auburn, so how good are either of you really?

It speaks to the culture at their university. Not dissimilar from A&M with all their nonsense. I mean, they got male cheerleaders and haven't won anything ever either.
