Why doesn’t LSU just fire Segar, who kept Guice’s name off of sexual assault reports?

Guice was accused of assaulting 4 women while at LSU. Segar was found by LSU’s own investigation to have kept Guice’s name off at least one report. She was suspended for 21 days, but not fired.

Why wasn’t she fired?

We all know the answer to this, right?

LSU is desperately trying to protect the people who pressured Segar to protect Guice. Segar wants to keep a job. If she’s fired, she talks. They can’t fire her, because they are STILL doing everything they can to protect the football staff. Full on corruption. No real concern for a culture and system that allowed the coaches to protect a guy who repeatedly sexually assaulted LSU students. It really is pathetic.

Some of us don’t sleep our lives away, Crown. Like you, apparently!

Have a great Saturday. Don’t act like what I said isn’t obviously true.

She doesn't want to talk. If she does she will look even worse and implicate herself even further. She wouldn't be in hurry to admit how disgusting she is like people think.

Her and Verge need to be dismissed along with the Tennis coaches.

What I really want to see is Lewis and Miles go head to head. Miles had been silent until he snapped back at Lewis. It's a catch 22 for Lewis, Verge and Segar. They desperately want to blame Miles. Problem is, when you crawl in bed with a snake, you're gonna get bit.

She already sued husch Blackwell
Her claim is she was following what she was told to do
I don’t know how she can do her job going forward
In an effective manner
My guess is LSU is trying to avoid another lawsuit

Did LSU ever tell you why your Application was denied? You need to get some closure.

Background check showed no history of sexual assault.

Hugh, can tell you from personal knowledge she is a sweet woman but not the sharpest tool in the shed. She thought her Jin was to make decisions as opposed to simply report everything up the line. She decided that the first girl was not credible (as did law enforcement ). Not saying the victim was or wasn’t myself, just describing what the report said about that one. I will say that Title IX puts a heavy burden on academicians to all of a sudden become experts in what amounts to criminal behavior. It’s difficult for educated and experienced law enforcement investigators and prosecutors to deal with sex crime allegations, yet Title IX mandates that someone with a masters business admin, sports science, or PhD in history to be an expert at it. Typical federal legislation that mandates a bunch of things but doesn’t have any guidance for training and implementation. This is happening at EVERY university. I work on the risk management end can tell you for a fact TAM has similar struggles, as do every public and private university in the US.

Once it becomes a cover up you can’t fire people without buying their silence first or the whole house of cards comes down.

I’d imagine the real story is pretty bad and comprehensive in nature or you would’ve seen someone get paid to take the fall to ensure a slap on the wrist while protecting those they want to keep around.

Funny thing is, this used to be true. All you needed was a diploma from any Louisiana High School, the worst school system in the country.

As this country should have learned decades ago with "Watergate" the coverup is always worse than the crime.
