Why does the SEC Rant desperately want LSU fans to be upset LSU is good at non-rev sports?

Everybody knows football is king
Everybody knows basketball is second in the pecking order
Everybody knows college baseball is mainly a regional thing
But what's up with the influx of threads the last 3 days trying to make LSU fans angry that the Tigers have 2 baseball championships, a gymnastics championship, and a WBB championship in just the last 5 years?

LSU is good at everything except for men's basketball, and it drives some fanbases crazy.
Hopefully we replace McMahon and get a good new coach, then the rival fanbases will really be triggered.

They get a weird gratification that if they get a response (which is the entire point of this board) that they feel like they’ve accomplished something. But if nobody responded to anything this board would be quite dead. It’s just odd thinking, but oh well.

Oh man I hate watching my alma mater be competitive in sports that don't generate money. Aaargrghh God it sucks having competitive athletic teams to enjoy watching on the weekends throughout the spring and summer arrghh!

I never understood the "revenue" sports argument. Why do I as a fan care if a sport makes money or not?
As a white guy who grew up playing baseball, it has always been my favorite sport. I shouldn't care about my alma mater's baseball team if it doesn't turn a profit? It's a dumb argument.

I don't "desperately" want the LSU fans on here to do anything, aside from not starting so many threads on this board that should be on the LSU board.

This thread is a direct response to the weird influx of Alabama flames flaming LSU fans about their non-revenue sports. Hell, there are 3 just on the first few pages.
Did you post this same response in any of those threads?

I’ve honestly wondered the same thing more than once. I’ve asked before and never really gotten a clear answer — why is it supposedly wrong, according to the SECr, to cheer for other sports outside of football and basketball? Aren’t we supposed to support all the teams that compete?

Because LSU sucks in basketball, the most popular sport being played at the moment, there has been a massive influx of threads by LSU posters trying to brag about other sports because they can’t participate in MBB.
So, because of that influx, the rant has responded in kind with prolonged flaming.
What goes on here does not require a professional diagnosis.
We flame, we troll, the cycle goes on and on.

Here is the answer. Just a small sampling from the last few days. Strange that a LSU fan would take offense to something they lead the world in - shite talking.
