One let rape happen, the other has an open relationship with his wife.

If you believe this then you clearly know very little about the entire Baylor situation.

Briles was basically the scapegoat for that whole thing and there was never really any evidence that he was in any way responsible for it.

The appearance of rape, and covering it up, is worse than buying and having sex with hookers.

Appearance of rape. Are you serious? There was multiple gang rapes reported. One was a trainer and he was given names. Nothing happened to them but the trainer was removed from her duties. I am not talking about one dude here accused gang rape. 10 to 15 of his players were accused of gang rape in just one incident.

There were some convictions and he knew about it early on and did nothing. He was given details and players names. Scapegoat? Did they get everyone that covered it up? No, but he does not he gets a pass. frick him and anyone that belittles rape and what it does to its victims.

The vast majority of this isn't even true.

Ah yes, that’s what the hookers were for.

Briles condoned, facilitated and enabled sexual assault over and over and over and over and over again.

If you don't wish the very worst for Art Briles, you aren't well read on this topic.

When did football coaches become the legal system?

Rapes should be reported to the police, not a coach.

Multiple investigations into the guy have failed to turn up any credible evidence against him.

Maybe Briles should've enabled doing hookers instead rape & gang-rape.

Is it really a open relationship if the wife didn't know? asking for a friend

I’m not belittling rape. 2 players have been convicted. More were exonerated in the court of law. The appearance of what happened was far worse than what has actually been proved to have happened. That being said, what has been proven to have happened is reprehensible.

All of that leads to my original comment on this topic, have we as a society decided art briles can never coach football again?

One got their dick played with for money.

The other put in place a system to deny justice to rape victims.

While I don’t have a dog in the fight, I don’t see why everyone at Baylor didn’t lose their jobs and get permabans? You telling me Mulkey didn’t know rapes were happening, and she had a platform. Everything I’ve read is it was an open secret. But only 1 leader lost their job.
