Florida State
Southern cal
Clemson
None of these complain about being so far behind everybody because they are not the state school
So, tell me again why it is such a bad argument.
All except Clemson probably have a richer history than Auburn in spite of not being a State University.

Honestly. I have seen a lot of Auburn fans make this argument, but have no had one that could explain why it makes a difference. Apparently, "It just does.", is an acceptable argument.
