no, it's not
It's not documented that MSU offered any amount of money to the Newtons. The only documented offer from Starkville was an offer to try and fix Auburn's poisoned trees a few months later

The NCAA basically set up a substation outside of the AU Athletic complex for 2 years and found nothing....BUT you think they didn't look close enough?
AU just had an assistant indicted on fed charges and you think if Bruce Pearl was involved they wouldn't have found something? THE FBI?!?!

Auburn has rivalries with Alabama and Georgia, so the hate is natural.
LSU/ AU: just some hard fought games.

I think the biggest reason is rednecks are haters, they hate any success by others that takes the spotlight off them. Example is all the “look at me” posts started by Bama fans.

Besides Alabama, Auburn has more hardware this decade than any other team in the SEC regarding football.
Plus, hate usually is fueled from J-E-A-L-O-U-S-y!
