Why do Ole Miss fans still embrace the "Rebel" nickname?

135I heard they finally quit waving those horrid little racists flags, and then quietly dumped the old slave owner with the white beard (General ??).
I really hate the whole cancel culture and wokester movement. I am very impressed that the Ole Miss faithful can hold on to their Civil War past without the entire liberal elite reigning down their thug tactics on them. I wish Ole Miss could share their secret with the rest of the Country...we need them in Washington!
Do they still sell Uncle Ben's Rice in Oxford? Asking for a friend....
