I think both schools have the same inferiority complex that causes them to choke in their games against Bama. They basically go into the game expecting to lose to Bama, and that’s exactly what happens. The mindset negatively affects their performance.

Auburn plays Bama better than anyone because they’re confident that they can beat Bama.

I honestly think UGA was the best team in college football in 2023, but they choked yet again against Bama. If UGA had gotten in, I think they would have won the whole thing again.

They are only confident when they play against Bama at Jordan Hare because that is the place where evil was born and raised.

Auburn plays Bama better because they are in state and in state rivalries are never easy. LSU and UGA are not rivals to Bama. Bama doesn't get tight or stressed with those games as they do with Auburn. As the Bama coach you can lose to LSU or UGA and be fine, you CAN NOT lose to Auburn.

Uhh, because Alabama is generally better. Both teams have an opportunity to win a few till Alabama regroups. My guess is that UGA will take that opportunity and win more than lose the next 3 or 4 years but Alabama will beat LSU more often than not, same as ever.

From an LSU standpoint, they didn't make a financial commitment to the program prior to 2000.

Since 2000, LSU has just as many wins vs Alabama as Auburn does.

LSU also beat Saban at Bama just as many times as Auburn did.

You should go back and look at calls/no calls by the refs at key moments in the game and let us know what you see.

Bama fans don't want to admit the obvious.

2023 games with Non-SEC officiating: USF, Texas and Michigan.

That’s b.s. LSU made the same “commitment “ as most other SEC teams. The difference since 2000 is that was when Saban arrived at LSU and built the program so solidly that even 2 morons won often enough to win a couple of titles.

Only because the ncaa decided Alabama should vacate 21 victories because some players didn’t return textbooks. Now players are getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Saban was in our heads. But now he's gone. Let the good times roll!

Same excuse every time.

If it was even true, it says a lot about how it never dawned on you people for 100 years that investing in football might be a good idea if you want to compete.

Not sure, which is worse really. Your excuses or the implications if they were actually true.

LSU is 11-14 in the last 25 against Alabama. 2 of the last 5. Most of our losses against them were highly competitive. Not sure we do play “ badly” against Alabama.
