Probably because it’s all a bunch of nonsense.

Or a butt hurt LSU fan. Wait, that’s redundant, isn’t it?

Rush is a little mad that folks went after Coach Pruitt. I don't believe Rush handled this the correct way.

Well, they know the sharpness of CNS' response on such unfounded questions. And, they know they'd sit in a press room for the duration of his career without him ever again acknowledging they are alive.

That said, for the few organizations that have time or funding for the dedicated investigative journalism required to produce a story here, it may break with a major periodical or other news outlet. However, beat reporters and local rags/small mkt journalists aren't breaking this story.

In any case, without the leg work and prep to counter anticipated shielded responses, it would go no where in a presser.

1) reporters are asking the AD. You just dont like their response

2) reporters are asking the compliance director. You just dont like their response.

Why should a reporter ask a head coach a question about boosters? Only ole miss and tennessee would be so dumb to mix the two.

The lawyers for Bama and UGA would each get to eviscerate Rush in deposition. The character assination would be a thing of glory and one for the ages.

Uh...it calls into question his honesty for one?

A rumor vs. something that was actually proven? I wonder which one we should believe here...

Because they realize it's a tape of Propst trying to con the guy out of money by using big school names.

And the other voice on the tape said this about it...

"This isn't about (college) recruiting, this is about money being diverted into (Propsts') back pocket....There's nothing to all that other stuff. There's no way the NCAA tries to make anything out of all of this. I don't see how they could

Also, same reason internal affairs and DAs aren't spending a lot of mental energy on the allegations of the illegal redistribution of civil or criminal asset seizures.

The story, like it's originator, is full of shite

Because the probst tape is pretty much like the fake insiders on here. He likes to talk and feel important. The writers know this.

Also...another blow to his credibility, he's just been placed on administrative leave by his current employers.

Rush admitted it was second hand info and hearsay.

I guess misery loves company in LSU’s case. Trouble is you don’t take the word of a scumbag as reason to start an investigation. If you did it would lend credibility to scumbags.

No one truly gives a damned about paying players. If they did, Will Wade would be unemployed
