Ehhh I can see it, but most every fanbase has those shite head t-shirt/wal-mart fans that come out of the woodworks.
Opposing school women suck. That's why my balls will only remain in a UGA grad's purse.
Probably connected more to them being grads working jobs in Atlanta. While UGA fans are crawling all over so you can't sift through grads and t-shirters.

It’s why we call them InsecureU. I love Alabama and their fans in general, but a lot of the ones on this board, i.e. Tuscaloosa, Giant Leaf, have an odd inferiority complex despite supporting by far the best program in the game. It’s weird.

Regarding this season, this year's Bama team has some issues: Defense took a big step back, we have been riddled by injuries on the D-side, we have a first year OC who seems to be grappling with establishing an identity, and Hurts is just not a good passing QB. Jalen really hasn't progressed that much and we don't have the defense to make up for it.
Fans are still pissed about the championship game against Clemson last year because Bama should have blown out Clemson and with a modicum of offensive production, Bama wins that game easily. The outing against Auburn and facing Clemson again is creating a lot of angst.
But, it's a two game season now and this is where Saban earns his money.

Yep. Lost a lot of talent from last year's defense, too many injuries, especially at LB, new offensive coordinator, true soph QB who's still limited and struggling as a passer. Still only lost one game and squeaked into the playoffs. Just lost another LB we could not afford to lose. Shite happens. And spoiled brats can't handle it. They want someone to blame.
Every fanbase has its segment of dipshit fans that all the reasonably sane fans want to disown.

You talk about offensive production as if we didn't have the lead with 2 minutes remaining and yet our defense let them march right down the field and score.

How many plays was the defense on the field for? How many three and outs did we have? A couple of extended drives, a couple of more third down conversions, we win. I don't know what game you watched, but I saw a terrible offensive outing last time we played Clemson. I saw another bad one in the last game we played in Auburn.

Clemson ran 99, yes 99, offensive plays. Not because they were that great an offense but because our offense was 3 of 13 on 3rd downs. Let's say we make 4 more 3rd down conversions. That 12+ more plays for our offensive and probably 12 less for Clemson's. Yes, our offense cost us the 'ship last year. we should have won by 2 scores.

Yes it would have been a shame to see one of the preeminent programs in CF shut down. It wouldn't have benefitted the SEC in any way either. When SMU was shut down, it hastened the end of the Southwest Conference. Without Bama, it is highly unlikely the SEC wins seven NC's in a row or is held in the high esteem that it currently is.
