Cause they're so close to a championship they can taste it, but Big Daddy is standing in the way.

I mean there are CONSTANT threads by LSU fans lamenting the Finebaum show and asking Alabama fans question after question after question? Why??? Why are you guys so desperate for our praise and reassurance?

My theory is not that you guys are scared but you're nervous as s### about the idea that you might slip up right at the finish line and not close the deal. All this talk about how Alabama is clearly the inferior team and the need for LSU fans to have Alabama fans acknowledge that is a self defense mechanism. I think LSU fans realize how absolutely devastating and miserable it will be to squander the "greatest season ever" to an undeserving Alabama team and they're on the verge of a nervous breakdown over it.
What the frick?

I would also add, that with everything lsu has accomplished most think it's unfair to have to play Alabama again when it's clearly an Alabama advantage being that they really have nothing to lose but their pride

Could LSU lose to Bama? IMO yes.

Do I think LSU will lose or am I worried about it more than when we played other strong opponents? No

After the first game, the fact LSU has gotten better, and it is in NOLA has made me confident we should win.

LSU fans in general are no more insecure about the game than are the Alabama fans. In truth what any of us fans think or say will have very little impact on the game. Two excellent teams that are very evenly match will try to beat the hell out of eachother. No one really knows which team will win but everyone knows it will be a great game to watch.

Most of the LSU fans here that are constantly flaming, are doing so for much the same reason they get in your face at the games and yell "tiger bait". As long as they get a rise out of you, it feeds their fun.

On game days, if you laugh and have fun with them you will have a great time. If you let them get under your skin, they will dig at you even more. Best to relax, kick back and just enjoy the banter.

Very good, honest replies dreaux and ulm.

Personally, I think LSU is simply a more complete team than Alabama. I honestly think you guys win by 7 to 10 points. I think both offenses and defenses are so close they're almost a wash. However, LSU's special teams are in an entirely different universe compared to Alabama's and that will create an uphill battle for Alabama all game long.

Why are you inbred Alabama pussies so fricking annoying? I can't wait until we make you assholes disappear just like on Nov 5th. Only this time it'll be for good.

All of these flame threads are from punked-out wuss boys who have never competed for anything. They attach their self-esteem to actual athletes, and a loss on the big stage would be devastating to their psyches. Normal fans are excited to watch a huge match-up between two great SEC teams for all the marbles...
