Yeah I don't know why LSU held on to him what with those 7 consecutive losing seasons.
Thanks once again for demonstrating the intelligence level of the Miles haters. :rotflmao:
Seriously, are you allowed outside of the special school alone?

Call it what you will, but running Copeland on 3rd and 3 and then punting with less than 4 minutes to go (and down by 2 scores) was effectively "quitting". Not even giving JL a shot to make something happen on that series was, as you say, sticking to his game plan too long.
I'm not a college football coach and I bet you aren't either. There have been lots of play calls by lots of coaches that I didn't understand. I do know that most of the time it isn't whimsy; that there is a reason for the call. Football is very complex at this level and specific plays are called because the staff has decided that the call will exploit a certain pervieved weakness in the other team.
Why the particular call you mentioned. I haven't a clue, but I bet that the staff saw something.I'm not trying to say that the LSU staff put together a great game plan. Obviously they didn't but to suggest that they "quit" is silly in the least.

Another thing I was wrong about was never ever seeing a LSU coach quit in the title game, or any game
This "quit" thing is becoming a mantra with you isn't it? It seems that you work it into practically every post.
Actually the opposite is true. Miles didn't quit. He stuck to his game plan. Too long arguably, but he didn't quit on what he thought would win the game. Miles fault was not that he quit but that he didn't quit on his plan. He had faith in the staff that drew up the plan and on his players that had been taught to execute it. Staying with the plan turned the Arkansas and Georgia games around.
It turned out to be a mistake in the NC game.
Now I understand that back in the prep room where you are flouring all those chickin parts, saying that Miles quit likely makes you a big deal, but the truth is that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Not really. This message board is going crazy over it, but that has nothing to do with national perception. I really don't give a frick what anonymous LSU fans think anyway. Most of yall are just still extremely butthurt over the pounding that my team gave yours. Its okay guys, it will get better with time. Next season, next season.
Outrage over sexual assaault is just butt hurt over a defeat.
Apparently you DO care what LSU fans think or you wouldn't be posting here.
Time has indeed healing power. Evidence the new found love for Harvey.
You are correct though in your statement about national perception. Most of the people outside of the South I know haven't voiced any degree of shock over the incident. The attitude is like " what else do you expect?"

However, I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall at the next family get together at his in-laws house. Thinking about how my parents would react if he were my husband, I imagine it would be a little chilly around the dining room table.
To honor him he will be given the chair at the head of the table while the adults toast him with their lite beer, the children gather around his feet and sing songs of praise to him, the dogs hump the sofa on the porch, the cats poop in the neighbor's flower bed and the other people living in the trailer park will hang ropes of red carnations on his single wide.

I think she wasn't a bit surprised. I mean if the guy is that big of a douche, can't hold his liquor and has a really really small penis, she would already know it.

He won't spend a minute in lock up. They will book him and put him in holding until he makes bail. He'll be out in a few minutes.
