Bammer fans are terrified. They have already come back down to earth compared to the 2010s and they know another loss to Kirby will place them firmly and indisputably behind UGA as the current premier college football program. There would be no more excuses, no more crying about receivers etc. Just the stark reality that they've fallen behind

Because we’ve seen him without his helmet.

Scoreboarding just doesn't sting man. 1980 is miles away. And we are significantly better on offense than we were in 2018 & 2020. Our 2023 offense is ranked like 40 spots ahead of bama's and our defense is better too. At this point schedule is becoming more and more of a wash.

I'm sure Milroe will have a deep ball or two, some runs, D will probably get a few sacks and maybe a pick. They'll get theirs & it'll be a good game. But seriously, nobody fears Bama, and another loss to Kirby would be the one thing that truly ends Saban's reign

I mean I think UGA will win but Alabama has already beaten the #1, #12 and #17 offense. And the #12 defense, presently 3 spots behind UGA's.

Sure, and I doubt anyone can stop Bowers. But he was talking about rankings.

When we play Georgia will be the most talented and best coached team we will play this year. That’s including anyone we’d run into in the playoffs should we make it. Other than Ohio State maybe Georgia can say the same thing.

If you’re not sweating the outcome you’re nuts for fans of either team.

I think the winner of this game wins the title.

Theyre pissed he told them to frick off and quietly and patiently waited behind a walk on win 2 ships meanwhile they have discount China made brand cj stroud. UGA is going to absolutely slaughter Bama because of one reason alone. Milroe is mediocre. And that just ain’t it against a late season Smart UGA team

It’ll be something close like 17-14 ish at half before we rip off 24 straight. Like we always do. Every time. Every single time

Big part yes. An equal big part is the very intentional way UGA plays football. Sometimes idiots refer to this as “slow start.”

It’s not just random chance many of our games are pretty close or somewhat close at halftime then we rip off 24-30 straight. It is literally designed that way

Really anyone’s only shot is to have a caliber QB who can put up a performance like Stroud did last year and they still lost. That was one of the most impressive games I’ve seen in idk how long by CJ

I do not mean it as a disparaging comment about Beck.
That's fine. Sometimes I look at posts with a critical eye, when they should just be taken at face value.

The part that's a problem is that UGA has #5 total offense/#6 Scoring offense and the #9 total defense/#6 scoring defense.

While you did face the #12 total defense in A&M, their offense is #52 and you beat them by 6.

You did face the #1 total offense in LSU, their defense is #106 (beat them by 14).

You did face the #12 offense in Ole Miss, their defense is #18 (beat them by 14).

The closest Bama's faced to a team with solid offense and defense might be Texas. #36 defense, #14 offense. They're significantly behind UGA in both categories and you lost by 10 at home.

Yeah, but this is the problem with this whole stats argument. Alabama isn’t the same team as it was when it played Texas. That’s not to say they’ll beat Georgia, but they’ve improved significantly since the Texas game so it’s difficult to look at that game now as a direct indicator of how they would do against Georgia.

The problem is UGA is 1 on 3rd down conversion on offense and defense in the country. Good luck Alabama. We don’t care if you score because the first third down you get you have little chance of making it back to first.

Milroe just isn’t good enough to really make UGA play any type of special defense they wouldn’t want to play. Idk why that’s so hard to accept. Teams that can’t do that often don’t beat UGA. Mizzou could do solely because of Burden for a bit but he got hurt. That means for Alabama to win it will have to come via the way of disrupting the best converting 3rd down offense in the country who is fully healthy currently with arguably the best player in the country a late round 1st at WR the best o line in the country and nfl receivers everywhere else. Good luck

I remember this same prediction the last time these two teams met in Atlanta. Bama's OLine would not hold up against a generational UGA defense and Bryce would be sacked 50 times. It was a blowout, but not the one Georgia fans wanted.

Is Bryce young walking through that door to replace dollar star CJ stroud?

I also wouldn’t expect UGA to make much sack attempts because your qb can’t sustain our basic standard basic coverage package.
