I think the better question is maybe Carson Beck is afraid of the best edge rushing tandem in the country. Dont believe me, just ask the best player in CFB

UGA has allowed 9 sacks all season (lowest in the SEC), and most of the season we had an injury at one of the tackle positions so we were playing a backup instead of a guy who is a projected first rounder.

He's healthy now. We feel pretty good at not getting sacked a ton.

The LT responsible for this play Will Campbell #66 will be a 1st round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

No one's scared of Beck. We're scared of that white tight end.

I haven’t thought about Carson Beck once. He’s the kind of quarterback whose success is directly tied to the other 10 players on the field. He’s only going to beat Alabama by his teammates winning their matchups consistently.

He’s no Deshaun Watson or Jayden Daniels.

Good for him.

UGA doesn't get sacked a lot in past seasons, and this year's OL is doing better in that regard than the past two seasons (in part because Beck has great pocket awareness and gets rid of the ball pretty fast, where Bennett would buy time and improvise more).

Bama had one sack vs LSU. UGA has a better line. UGA is not overly concerned about anyone's pass rush this season.

We can tell. Beck slings it as well as anyone and is VERY good at reading defenses. His pre-snap adjustments set up his teammates for a lot of the success they're enjoying

Well, I didn't know we were scared. I'll start quacking in my shoes after I'm done with lunch.

I think the scoreboard and 10 games worth of film have us convinced already, thanks

He is a good QB with a lot of good athletes around him. He never gets pressured. I hope we can and see how he responds.

Interestingly enough, both Mizzou and Ole Miss got to him several times. Alabama probably will, too. It should be a good game.

Because Bama O versus UGA D is the real test in whether we are in this game or not

The defense has not been as dominant as the past 2-3 years. It should be a very good matchup. Milroe will be a challenge, too. He can run and has gotten better throwing the ball lately. Alabama will be hungry, and a hungry Alabama is a dangerous Alabama.

I mean...can't we say the same thing about Milroe? Milroe averages 33 yards a game. He has really good receivers and your offensive line is greatly improved.

I guess I'll never understand what people mean when they say one player is only good because he is surrounded by good players. I can't think of a QB who is good that is surrounded by slugs.

No doubt there, but Daniels has really good receivers and Watson was surrounded by excellent players, too.
