They are a solid team, agreed. Most pundits though are not giving LSU a chance to win this game, like it is a foregone conclusion.

Well, LaTech is 4-2, so LSU has beaten an FBS team with a winning record. And yes, LaTech is on the same level as Utah State for comparison purposes. And throw Clemson in there if we aren't counting the game that they lost to the school we are mentioning.

I get your frustration. The best thing to happen would be for LSU to blast them. LSU needs to put to rest the question marks about their offense, and this would be a great game to do it.

Good luck!

LSU doesn’t have the offense Alabama does. Not even close they’re like Auburn level right now, in ppg not in talent. They won’t blow Vandy out. LSU probably wins but they could easily easily lose.

11 AM conference road game

That hasn't been a bad spot for LSU under Kelly:

2024:
@ USCe - W 36-33

2023:
@ MS State - W 41-14
@ Mizzou - W 49-39

2022:
@ Arkansas - W 13-10

Removing the Vanderbilt loss

If we can do that, here are LSU's opponents with the LSU loss removed:

3-2 Clemson
4-1 LA Tech
2-3 Florida
4-1 Southeastern LA
3-2 USCe

Here's Vandy:

1-5 Charleston Southern
2-4 VA Tech
3-2 USCe
1-4 Georgia State
3-2 Utah State

No, but the LSU poster I posted that to made a snide remark about Vandy's Schedule and posted the records of the teams they had played. Was just thinking it odd for LSU fans to be looking down on Vandy's schedule

Neither schedule is strong to this point but LSU's is more difficult than Vandy's. LSU has played one more SEC game at this point with a non-con game @Clemson while Vandy played VirginiaTech. LSU played FCS SLU while Vandy played one of the worst FCS programs in Charleston Southern.

No offense, but has LSU beaten a team with a winning record? I don't know, so I assume they have, but I can't think of one right off hand.

UF is the only team LSU has played with sub .500 record.

The lower level OOC games we played are teams that are faring well (to this point) in their leagues.

The worst defense LSU has gone up against is La Tech at 61. The rest are top 50.

Vandy has gone against 128 GSU, 122 USU, Va Tech 76, SCar 50 and Bama at 18.

LSU's defense is allowing 5 ypg more than Bama so similar. While bama is 22nd in PPGA, LSU is 5th.

The best offense Vandy has faced put up their averages basically, USU. Bama was 4 points less than their average.

While LSU has looked bad on offense, they really did improve a lot after the bye week except for GL turnovers.

I expect nothing from the offense this year at this point. The OL is bad, Nuss lost all zip on his throws, Durham is banged up and wasnt even that effective when healthy. The most effective RB on the roster this year is a guy we converted from QB to RB. We averaged less than 4 fricking yards a carry against SE LA.

It wont happen, but I want Van Buren and Berry to get the snaps as QB1 and RB1 going forward. Best case they add some juice to the offense, worst case build toward next season. The status quo is going to be a whole bunch of shite games.

Durham looked better last game, Im still not impressed with Nuss at all. USC is a dogshit team, we should have scored 30+ on them.

Even with Nuss' mistakes, if our RB doesn't fumble at the goalline and our track star drop an easy long pass in his hands, we score 30. Again, you're acting like we haven't gotten better as the year goes by. And you're ignoring that Nuss looked completely different last game as he has all year.

Everything in the world says Vandy should win which is exactly why I don't think they will.

I think LSU wins another ugly game

I'm hoping LSU beats the brakes off Vandy and makes Pavia cry.

Yeah we fumbled at the one inch line and threw a pick inside the 10 yard line.
