Would CBS ever pick to air a primetime game from Lexington, KY?
Maybe in February

You mean the Crimson Broadcasting System with Bama's #1 fanboy Gary Danielson? Gee, let me think...

Bama/LSU is like UGA/UF. It's always on CBS. Always.

2. Georgia would beat Vandy, LSU, and Florida
UGA fans sure are confident about this.

No.
You’d think an LSU fan would know that #1 LSU vs #17 Kentucky in 2007 was a 3:30 pm CBS game. In Lexington.

LSU would lose to Florida, Georgia, and beat MSU
LSU likely loses all 3 of these

The question was:

3:30 =/= Primetime.
Just sayin'...

LSU and Bama have more national appeal than any other program in the SEC.
History has proven this.
History actually says something completely different.
Highest Rated Regular Season Games (2013-2017:
1. Michigan at Ohio State 2015- 9.4
2. Alabama at Texas A&M 2013- 8.5
3. Alabama at Auburn 2013- 8.2
4. Notre Dame at Florida St. 2014- 7.9
5. Alabama at Auburn 2017- 7.6
6. Auburn at Alabama 2014- 7.4
7. Alabama vs. Florida St. 2017- 6.9
8. LSU at Alabama 2013- 6.9
9. Michigan St. at Ohio St. 2015- 6.6
10. Ohio St. at Michigan 2017- 6.5
Only one Alabama-LSU game from the past five seasons ranks in the Top 10 despite the fact that the SEC clears the deck to make sure there is no real competition within the region to interfere.
If you go back and look at the last 5 seasons, only three annual rivalries had a 3.9 or better rating every single year... here are those 3 and their average TV rating per year:
6.60- Alabama vs. Auburn
6.60- Michigan vs. Ohio State
5.66- Alabama vs. LSU
Is it a high-ratings matchup? Yes. Does it mean Bama and LSU have more national appeal than any other programs? Nope.

Let's stop the LSU-Bama thing. Everybody I talk to bitches about this game being a commercial filled CBS game that doesn't end until 11:30 that night. Bama fans don't care nor are interested in this being a "prime time" game. This was never a "rivalry" game to Bama. Sorry folks, it wasn't, it isn't and will never be. Nobody outside of Louisiana goes nuts over this game.
Only the most handicapped trolls insists on posting stuff like this as if it were facts. Sabans right about yall.

The CBS night game/doubleheader day exists for the Bama-LSU game. They decided to have Bama-LSU as the night CBS game during the offseason. LSU could be 1-7 and still get to play Bama on CBS that night.
I think you are probably right. And I do enjoy our games at night, so I'm spoiled by it. But it's about as fair as Dallas and Detroit getting a home game every Thanksgiving.

I would rather have the night game so I'd hope they'd take Bama.
I don't think you are understanding. If they pick the Bama-LSU game, you are playing at 2:30.

The 3:30 timeslot for CBS has long been their game of the week.
#13 Florida played #8 Kentucky in 2007 on CBS as well and was the game of the week.

Any chance CBS gets to suck off Alabama, they'll take it.

Well, it means 1 of those 2 does, as the stats above pretty clearly show.

Alabama playing on CBS, just another part of the Deep State of Alabama football controlling the universe.
Damn, it's insane how powerful we are. Must make you feel helpless and weak.

You keep trying to push this agenda because its the "cool" thing to say, but the TV ratings and that both teams been scheduling the bye week the week prior say otherwise
Posted on 10/5/18 at 3:07 pm to BHMKyle
They should pick UGA vs. Kentucky in the OP’s scenario, but they probably won’t.

I don't really know why people care about this so much, but I don't think of LSU as a rivalry. I think of it as a huge game every season between two very talented teams, but I don't "hate" LSU. I hate Auburn and Tennessee.
I see LSU on TV against somebody else and I just watch. I watch Auburn or Tennessee on tv and my brain immediately starts hoping for total destruction.
I don't know if that is what determines a rivalry or not, but for me it is.
