Honestly same. The schedule we play is tough, not a lot of games to pad stats, and Nuss is a very good college QB but not an elite one
Arch has not impressed me in the playing time he has had to date, he seems like a good but not generational QB

Nussheimer is mediocre at best.

4,000 yards and 29 touchdowns may not be Heisman worthy but calling it mediocre, at best, is wild.

Burrow and Daniels made huge strides from their first to second years at LSU
Burrow and Daniels are great QBs, but it also helped that they were throwing to first round NFL WRs in that second year.
This isn't a critique but I genuinely haven't followed your WR room in depth; outside of Aaron Anderson, will Nuss have even half the weapons that Burrow or Daniels had?

Kind of a wait and see on that.
They got Brown from Kentucky and Anderson from Oklahoma in the portal. Hilton has been there a few years and is talented but has had injury issues. Zavion Thomas who transferred from State is there as well. Also a talented kid in Kyle Parker.
Lot of potential and talent but not many skins on the wall.

I am going to go with " c. none of the above". Nuss has some brilliant moments but overall his play has not been where it needs to be to be in this discussion. Not sure why Archie keeps coming up in Heisman discussions. To date, he has not done anything that makes him seem like he would even be in the Top 10.
This could be another one of those years where a QB does not get it.

He alone scored more points on A&M, than A&M did on Texas.

And Bowling Green scored more on A&M than Texas did.
What's your point?

Manning is the Kamala Harris of CFB. Forced the guy in front of him out and was anointed to the position without any real meaningful evidence he is any better than his predecessor.

So the fact that he scored more on A&M makes him a Heisman candidate 5 months before the season starts?
Are you really that ignorant TOT? Instead, why don't you tell us why he should be a candidate for the Heisman instead of being a shite poster.
pooor TOT, can't see past his obsession with A&M and/or doesn't know shite about football.

Why will he be a candidate for the heisman? Because he’s a number 1 recruit who sat for 2 years in the same system. He got more time to develop and learn than your average recruit gets, let alone one so talented. He has already been eased into being the starter (when Quinn was hurt) and looked amazing.
When he played he looked great for the most part. His first start was a little shakey, and his series against UGA wasn’t great. That’s it. Other than that he was lights out.
“He’s done nothing to date”
Low IQ moment by Buster… shocker

Arnold has a shot at a Heisman moment if he becomes a QB who beats bama at two different schools.
Arnold’s passing stats against Alabama last season:
9/11. 68 yds. 6.2 avg. 0 td. 0 int. 83.1 QBR
He had a good game running the ball. But the quarterback who won the game for Oklahoma was Jalen Milroe. His 3 interceptions and 14.1 QBR produced more points for Oklahoma than did Oklahoma’s offense.
Arnold will have to be a completely different quarterback in 2025 than in 2024 to even be on the fringes of the Heisman conversation.

LOL at Nussmeier
He completed 64% of his passes and threw 12 interceptions to about 28 tds
Didn’t even make 3rd team all sec in an average at best year for sec qbs
