The school picks the celebrity picker, not ESPN.
What?
So Alabama picked former LSU pitcher Brian Wilson as the celebrity picker in 2011?
Are you retarded?

I hope it's OBA FEMI from WWE
Didn't consider him but he would actually be the wisest choice today given his current popularity, his connection to UA as a Bama grad and ESPN's deal with the World's Worst Entertainment but nah... will still end up being some frickhead no one's heard of.
They legit had a guy on there a few years ago whose only connection to the school was "married to a Bama grad."

It's probably going to end up being some karaoke bar legend from Knoxville who's an Arkansas fan.
Can confirm Justin Moore will be in T town this weekend to perform and will be on the sidelines for the game.

How about the great republican senator from Alabama?

I saw a campaign sign for him the other day that said "Coach Tuberville for Governor" instead of "Tommy Tuberville for Governor."

Idiots will try to double up and let Nick Saban be the guest picker and then he will try and act unbiased but ultimately pick Bama.

I'd take that over the weird actor who was on there because he's "married to a Bama grad."

With how much they push the protect college sports act this year and ESPNs history of terrible choices for guest pickers when in tuscaloosa, this isn't as far fetched as it seems

They should get Tom Hanks

Hmm...to choose Kirby or where he coached multiple championship teams?
Then, later in the season, will be choose LSU, or where he coached multiple championship teams?
I think it's hard for him to pick against Alabama or teams where his coaching tree extends to. One, they have been really good, and even when he's trying to be completely unbiased it comes across as biased because of where he coached, and the coaches who were under him.

That is a good guess. I was going to say no because ESPN isn't going to "politicize" themselves
But, it fits the model for ESPN making dumb picks for Bama gameday.
Hated former AU coach picking a game in Tuscaloosa.
Election year politician with POTUS planning a visit, he will certainly be around trying to suckle a teat.

Hannah Barron would be a popular choice.
