As a diehard horn fan from the 60's. I would give the tip of the cap to Cam over Vince. Why? Because Vince had a supporting cast that was unreal. Plus Texas had a lights out defense. Cam did a lot of what he did by himself. Have a wonderful day my fellow posters.

Which one gets the NIL?

Those are 2 different questions...

Tebow was the best locker room presence from the moment he hit campus. He ain't getting any portal money, because whoever gets him out of high school isn't ever letting him go. He gets quiet NIL money, enough to make him stay out of the portal, and we never hear how much it is. The stories of his leadership were legendary, even as a freshman.

Vince Young probably gets the biggest NIL in the portal, because prior to their great years I think he showed the best passing skill, which is what you want your QB to have.

If they all had their best seasons and then hit the portal, I think Cam gets it. But that's kinda skewed, because those guys go into the draft after that year, not the portal.

Peak Season:

Tebow: 64.4% / 2746 / 10.1YPA / 30TD-4INT 172.4RTG + 910 & 14Rush TDs

Not sure how that is his peak season individually

2007
Tebow -
Passing: 3286 yards, 32 TD, 6 INT, 66.9% completion
Rushing: 895 yards, 23 TD

Tebow put up great numbers every year, but his Heisman season is his best statistically. That level of consistency across a career is what makes him stand out.

Good stats. However, Jayden Daniels is missing something that Vince Young, Tim Tebow, and Cam Newton all have. Do you know what that is?

Umm..you mean Tebow's backup..you are right..Tebow was clearly better..proven by Cam running scared because Tebow was staying..he is very clearly not the best of the three..at all. Not even close.

1.Vince Young
2. Tm Tebow

3. Cam Newton - Can't be stuck and run because of it by one of the others being better than you.

Oh and he's not gay like Cam, not a prude like Tebow, and doesn't rent out an entire SWA flight like VY.

Do any non LSU fans agree with this? It is close in my opinion but would he beat that USC team or carried Auburn to a national title?

Was Cam ever stopped on a 3rd and short? 3rd and 3, go ahead and move the chains. Went into Tuscaloosa and beat a natty team loaded with NFL talent after spotting them 21 points. Rountinely trucked LBs and made Patrick Peterson look foolish on a TD run. Easily the best college QB to play the game.

Cam. If he played for a very talented state team instead of auburn, state is likely playing for a national championship, if not winning one.

I thought the LSU defense was its strength early in the season. It was a waste of a great offense.
