Bo Jackson obviously for Alabama, and there are a ton of contenders after him. I have long thought that Keith MCCants was an incredibly athletic linebacker. Just couldnt get it to right upstairs

Alabama is so hard. Gotta be Willie Mays tho. Considered the best in his sport and his body lasted unlike Go.

Weird question. Bo it is.

Bo is the best athlete the South has ever produced and it is not even close. Deion Sanders would be next.

With all due respect to Herschel, the best athlete from Georgia would have to be Champ Bailey.

He was no Jackie Robinson, but sure.

Longevity is a metric tho. Willie Mays was a pure athlete. He had 660 Hrs and played in two massive stadiums. I love Bo, but injuries make you have to make assumptions about his career.

Not sure if anyone else is close without looking it up
