Bo Jackson obviously for Alabama, and there are a ton of contenders after him. I have long thought that Keith MCCants was an incredibly athletic linebacker. Just couldnt get it to right upstairs

Alabama is so hard. Gotta be Willie Mays tho. Considered the best in his sport and his body lasted unlike Go.

Bo is the best athlete the South has ever produced and it is not even close. Deion Sanders would be next.

Longevity is a metric tho. Willie Mays was a pure athlete. He had 660 Hrs and played in two massive stadiums. I love Bo, but injuries make you have to make assumptions about his career.
