After to losing to Texas each year from 2000-2005, literally by an average margin of over 20 points, you would be shocked by how many email signatures their alumni had with the score "12-7" in it from the 2006 game.

We aren’t incessant losers.
We haven’t won a National Championship in generations, but we aren’t a terrible program.
I don’t recall the UTex email signatures, but I’m sure some baw somewhere was probably guilty of it.
This entire thread sucks.
I wish we could all toast one another and appreciate our blessings.
College football brings me so much joy, and there’s no place in the sport for hatred and judgment.
I’m battling some potentially life-altering news right now (whilst seeing two different oncologists), and it makes me realize how ridiculous so many of y’all are.

When you lead a series by 39 games, and the other team hasn't even won 38 total times, there's hardly room for celebration that warrants posting a score in your email signature, or a cup for that matter.
Especially when all the victories were usually arse beatings.

Our universities weren’t even on the same planet until approximately the Vietnam War era.
The horns’ history is admirable.
But to hear y’all compare yourselves to a small agricultural and compulsory military college, when you were the state’s largest university—that pulled in Texas’s women, scholars, professors, athletes, money, resources—is silly.
The series head to head should probably be more lopsided than it is.
