Meanwhile, Bama has

How is Kenyan Drake a rising star, but not the other two? If we compare their rookie years it isn't close, so here is a comparison for this year.
Kenyan Drake 535 yds, 4 TD's
Sony Michel 931 yds, 6 TD's, most playoff rTD's by a rookie
Nick Chubb 996 yds, 8 TD's

So are we talking about college success or NFL success?

SC can make a good argument for DBU and TEU ... I dunno.
DBU is tough between LSU, UF and SC. We’ve recently had some guys retire so I have to think LSU is DBU right now. Although, both LSU and SC benefited greatly from the Ron Cooper years in that regard. SC is about to start pouring DBs back into the league with T-Rob and Boom at the helm.
TEU .... we’ve had a lot of good ones in the league over the years including two or three pro bowlers. Four or five actually I think. Willie Scott, Jay Saldi, Jared Cook .... I’m forgetting one or two. Hayden Hurst will be pretty good before all is said and done. We’ve got a couple two or three others in the league right now too I think.
TEU is SC.

And all of them were recruited and coached by T-Rob and Boom ... which was exactly my point above.
We’re seeing it already. These two guys can recruit the heck outta DBs.

Could you please explain to me how Kenyan Drake is a rising star, while we need to wait to see Chubb and Michel for a few more years when both of them had better seasons than Drake last year?

I really don’t understand anyone’s argument against UGA being RBU. The only school close is Bama. Georgia always has the best talent in the country at running back

LSU: WRU
Pisses me off the Dolphins didn't keep Jarvis Landry. When the rest of the team quit like dogs he was still out there laying his body on the line. Loved that kid. I'd pay over market value to have kept him. Cuz I know he's either going to win or die trying.

There for awhile Mizzou was pumping D lineman like crazy into the league.
Sheldon Richardson, Shane Ray, Marcus Golden, Alden Smith, Justin Smith, Kony Ealy, Ziggy Hood, Charles Harris.
I know its slowed down now, but damn, that's a good bunch.
And we've had a good bunch of Tight ends go to the league but none found great success like the great Kellen Winslow.
We are probably too 5 in the SEC in offensive lineman in the league too. Have had like 5 selections in the past 5 years I believe and they all have had alot of success in the league.

I didn't say anything bad about Chubb, or Michel, and I didn't say that they weren't better than Drake. I meant that the sample size for them is smaller right now. Plenty of times we see RBs have good rookie years, and then flame out. I am not saying that it will happen, and I don't expect it too.
My "rising star" comment was probably a little much, but my point was that finished 2017 very strong, and he had a strong year last year. He is trending up.
Also, if you've ever watched any Dolphins games, their coach was a moron, and didn't give Drake the ball near enough. This was a common complaint by fans and Dolphins reporters under Gase.
Comparing rookie seasons isn't really fair, because both Chub and Michel got the ball a lot more. Furthermore, Drake had a better ypc than both of them his rookie year.
My initial post was in response to someone acting as if UGA is heads and shoulders ahead of anyone else as far as NFL RBs go.

I think many people have this whole "InsertyourcollegeU" for positions mixed up. It isn't just putting a couple of players in the league, they actually have to be impact players. And it has to be multiple players.
Gilmore is a baller, and SCAR had some guys stick around the league for a while, but I don't think any of them were ever considered the best at their position.

Looked up the WRU stats just for fun. Since 2000, draft picks by school:
LSU 18
Florida 15
Georgia 13
A&M 12
Arkansas 9
Tenner 9
Bama 8
S. Carolina 8
Auburn 8
Mizzou 7
Ole Miss 6
Kentucky 5
Vandy 2
Miss State 0
No wideouts drafted in a 20-year period in the SEC seems impossible.

Makes sense.
Grant Delpit led MS State in receptions last year
