Who in college basketball is your top 5 all time

Kansas, Duke, UNC, UK, and UCLA.
Next number in would be Indiana, Georgetown, Syracuse, and Villinova.
Indiana is close to being down and out in today's conversation and I doubt the new coach will turn things around. I doubt anyone but a Beheim disciple would want to take over that program unless someone can rebuild it without playing all zone D.

UK,UNC and UCLA.
UCONN's best days are prob. behind it due to finance. Georgetown/Syracuse only succeeded under one coach. 'nova? Meh.
Indiana is the Texas of cbb.

Part of what made that Final Four run so special was rolling through these big dogs along the way. One wonders what could have been had Chuma not torn his ACL against UNC.

I have a soft spot for Michigan State but that really stems from them making me some decent money in the tournament over the years.

Hard to argue with the group of Kansas, UNC, Kentucky, and UCLA as an all time list.
Duke is in the conversation. Louisville at some level. Indiana.
A team I don’t think about much in these types of conversations is Houston who has 6 final fours which is a surprising amount, however, 2 with Elvin Hayes and 3 with Phi Slamma Jama makes sense out of it.

Heck, if they just get the call against UVA correct the result would have been the same. With Chuma we wouldn't have needed the obvious call, called correctly. Man, that was a fun run.

with Samson as the HC i think HOuston will be tough to contend with along with Baylor. BU may be lucky to keep him should the UNC's and Dukes of the world come calling.

why Kansas so low. Birth place of BB right?

It’s no disrespect to Kansas. They are very relevant and have made many Final Fours and have played for three national championships since 2000 winning one. It’s the THREE total Tournament era titles that has them where they are. They should have more.
Kansas hoops mirrors Oklahoma football. Sooners should have way more than just the 2000 title in the last twenty years.

Kentucky
N Carolina
Kansas
Duke
UCLA
The first 4 schools are the only 4 schools with all-time win% above 70%. Kentucky has the most all-time wins and the highest win %.
--------------------------------
St John's has more wins and a higher win% than Indiana.

Ummm Okie doesn't have a football title in the past 20 years. Math is hard!

He's a hell of a coach. He's also left two major programs on probation and been suspended from the basketball coaches association for three years. Expect more of the same at Houston.

Last I checked, the 2021 season hasn’t taken place yet. The most recent national champion is 2020.

Math must escape you.
2000-2019 is 20 championship years. You may or may not have 10 fingers and 10 toes. Trying counting them up.
So no Okie hasn't won a championship in the last 20 years.

I hate having to give them any credit, but Louisville is generally considered #6 all time. 3 natties, all the wins and hardware. Eff 'em, but give those dirty birds their due man.

1. Kentucky - 8 National Championships, 17 Final Fours
2. UCLA - 11 National Championships, 19 Final Fours
3. North Carolina - 6 National Championships, 20 Final Fours
4. Duke - 5 National Championships, 16 Final Fours
5. kansas - 3 National Championships, 15 Final Fours
Others in the conversation:
Indiana: 5 National Championships, 8 Final Fours
Louisville: 3 National Championships, 10 Final Fours
UConn: 4 National Championships, 5 Final Fours
Villanova: 3 National Championships, 6 Final Fours
In my biased opinion, it’s really a Top 4 in college basketball and kansas fits in better with the next tier that I listed above. They’re definitely solidly behind the top 4 and trying to keep the next tier from bumping them out of the top 5.
Also FWIW, the AP released their all time rankings a few years ago and had: Kentucky, UNC, Duke, UCLA, and kansas in that order.
