I meant to mention Brian. Oops! He was the 2nd leading receiver behind Deebo, I know that for sure. Definitely a screw up on my part.
Rooster...did you hear the interview with Spurs? He was in Cola to golf. He said he thought we were the sleeper and that he looks for us to surprise a lot of folks. Also was very high on Bentley as well as Muschamp. Bet Florida just loved hearing what he had to say.

Dk metcalf..... van Jefferson..... AJ brown.... then Tre Nixon 7a poy for 79 and 1243 ..... that's 3 sophs and one true with Patterson throwing. Greatest combo by class by a long shot. It's not even close. Better thank God we paid to play or all yalls shite would be torched for the next two years!!! Cause no way will the aforementioned will be there for their senior year.

Remember what I just proclaimed Metcalf, Jefferson, Brown and Patterson will never play one down their senior year..... and I understand they may not end their career at OM but .....,,

Ole Miss:
DK Metcalf and AJ Brown are bigger than Laquon T and just as aggressive and explosive. Van Jefferson and DeMarkus Lodge were also 4/5 stars out of high school.
Hugh Freeze was really good at recruiting the WR position. Pretty much the only position on the field we don't have to worry about going into the season.

Ole Miss
AJ Brown - 6'1
DeKaylin Metcalf - 6'4
Van Jefferson - 6'2
DaMarkus Lodge - 6'2
Markell Pack - 6'2
That's the best group as of today. I think Alabama and Auburn have a lot of talented kids but they have to prove themselves.

Ole Miss definitely has the best group. Maybe in the entire country. Those guys made some plays that was straight ridiculous. Its a dam shame all that talent have to go through what Ole Miss is putting them through.
UGA's WR group is talented but unproven.
Riley Ridley
Jason Stanley
Mecole Hardman
Terry Godwin
Javon Wims
UGA signed 4 highly rated WRs this past cycle. One will definitely make a nice contribution according to practice reports.

Excited to see what he does this year. He was playing great until his season ended early due to injury.
AJ and DK will be starters out wide
Van Jefferson will be starting slot
Really going to miss having a dynamic TE. Octavious Cooley was supposed to take over, but he cant get out of his own way.

Too bad their new OC only has a handful of plays to run.

Why, will the sanctions limit the playbook? Probably not, idiot.

From RedCupRebellion, on new OC Longo:

Longo says he has just 26 plays in his offensive playbook
You're not bright, Art. Take a knee and watch a few plays. Get back out there when you feel more up to speed

Nope. Vecch just hasn't been paying attention. OM wasn't running a shite ton of different plays since the start of Freeze. Its a typical spread playbook. Many variations of a handful of plays. When you have exceeding talent at a position it makes sense to simplify and let the player use their athletic edge.

Best starting 4: Bama
I've got to say that the Bama WR corps is quite unproven. Ridley is good. Foster is supposed to be good but hasn't been able to stay healthy. Cam Sims hasn't really done anything in his career either, mostly lack of opportunities.
There is a group of freshmen that everybody is excided about (Jeudy, Smith, Ruggs, and Shavers); we will likely need some of them to contribute this year. But if they can't block, it'll be hard to keep them on the field. I think that's something that has been overlooked when we reminisce about Julio and Amari.

Can we just ban (actually delete forever) the folks in this thread whose sign up date is July or August 2017?

Why? What's your point?

This man may be the playmaker that makes the difference for us this year. Reports out of camp are gushing over what he's doing. "We talkin bout practice", but still.

Last year we squandered what could have been one of the best groups of WR's (+ OJ) to ever play at Bama. This year has a lot of potential too. I hope we can get them the ball beyond the LOS.
