re: Should LSU be worried about BYU?

"One of the better quarterback LSU has had since 2007"
No offense but that's not saying much. I didn't see Etling play every game but the times I saw him he looked below average but that's to be expected if he was injured..... the obvious gameplan for BYU will be load the box whether it's effective or ineffective. I think they will try to shorten the game as well. Will have to win in the turnover department to be competitive.

Byu's LB Francis Bernard is out. He had 80 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 ints last season. Byu was 9th in the nation against the run last year and they return 4 d lineman with starting experience. Offensive line is younger but deeper led by center Tejan Koroma who is an Outland trophy nominee. They also have soph Shoaf back who started 9 games as a freshman and he made one all American team. They will have to protect a straight drop back passer in Magnum instead of dual threat Tayson Hill. They averaged over 200 yards rushing per game. Look for Byu to load the box and try and put Etling in third and long. I think Etling sucks but maybe he improves. From a betting perspective it's a no play imo.

Remember what I just proclaimed Metcalf, Jefferson, Brown and Patterson will never play one down their senior year..... and I understand they may not end their career at OM but .....,,
Dk metcalf..... van Jefferson..... AJ brown.... then Tre Nixon 7a poy for 79 and 1243 ..... that's 3 sophs and one true with Patterson throwing. Greatest combo by class by a long shot. It's not even close. Better thank God we paid to play or all yalls shite would be torched for the next two years!!! Cause no way will the aforementioned will be there for their senior year.
I will put you neck and neck with bammer. That's my vote, hard to separate the two. My squad has three world beaters as sophomores so I will put them a distant third.
Kirk is #1 or deebo as far as best receiver but I'm searching for OVERALL....
Ok. Underclass men not even close. It's ole miss. Overall though? Debatable.
Sorry if this has been asked before. I would rather hear a reasoning than a listing. Goooo!
Then how many offensive plays did he call last season? I would say zero. What about defensive calls? I would say zero. He may decide whether to go for it on 4th down. He may decide to punt or kick a fg or go for it. I don't have any personal insight into this so I could be wrong. But I'd bet I'm right in my total assessment in this post.

Sabah doesn't do much "coaching". You realize that right? He is a manager. He cherry picks the best athletes then he delegates the "coaching" to his assistants. His thing is he is smart enough to get out of the way. That's something Coach O has finally come to terms with and I think that's going to help him and lsu as they compete against bammer. Saban keeps the focus for the program then delegates the coaching to the assistants.
Same thing Chad Kelly would do for OM. It's a smart move. Nobody back to FC.
Why is the FBI in Oxford? They have a office in Oxford. They are always in Oxford.
My point was I think Coach O's classes will translate into a .500 record against Alabama once he establishes his own talent. One thing to have a top 10 class, it's another thing to have Bama like talent and depth.
