yea that would have been reasonable but the predictions were more like undefeated NC.

Adam Wilson documented our craziest prediction on here about how we would do last season......We did just what was predicted....You'll never find a serious post about us last year winning the national championship...Try harder next time, I saw LSU fans say even if they lost to arkansas they would still get the sugar bowl bid though....whose fanbase is delusional now douchebag.

LSU fans are pretty bad considering they haven't been undefeated in about 50 years.

Just when you think Auburn fans are gaining respect,...some stupid Auburn poster runs his mouth.....YOU THINK WINNING THAT ONE TITLE LAST YEAR MAKES YOU RELEVENT?....suck a big one..warturd....

before we moved from alabama to southern indiana, i would have thought that you were fringe-arse crazy to say that an obscure fanbase, like louisville, is the most delusional.

but, i listen to an a.m. sports station out of louisville (hey! they occasionally mention the sec!) and, memphis, you are right. more delusional than any other fanbase, with no reason that i can fathom.

go cards playing in that pizza stadium!

Marines, did you see this?
LINK

quote:

There's a new national all-star game for senior high school football prospects who will be playing mostly BCS-level football. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl will kick off for the first time Jan. 3, 2012, and it will attempt to attract the same level of talent that the more established all-star games -- the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and Under-Armour All-America Game -- already get. Within a week or two, a television partner for the game will also be announced.

The United States Marine Corps has signed a partnership with the game, which will be played at Chase Field in Phoenix. It will feature 100 of the top prospects in the nation, split into two teams--an East team and a West team.

I think most fanbases are equally delusional if you listen to radio or look at a message board. Hey man I hate to lose Shane Battier because he's a great glue guy but do you think we could swing a Lebron/Battier trade. I think it'd be a win-win for both teams. I'll hang up and listen.

Of course you'll hang up and listen because he's about to punch you in the face.

I think the only truly grounded fanbases are those like Vandy who have never tasted success so they expect, even demand, failure. They can't point to a banner they put up after they tied for the SEC West. They can't look back at their 1964 championship to show they were good once. They have a history of being terrible and they embrace it. It makes them realistic and unbiased in most situations. Plus, don't frick with them in a debate team setting.

So AU has been good for only the two undefeated seasons and the rest stunk the place up, right? That's what you're saying an undefeated season basically means..................

I cant quite put together what being undeated has to do with being delusional.
If you have ever spent any time in big 10 country you will see what delusional really is.

Well shite how many teams have? We've had several 1-loss seasons since 1959. We are #12 all-time in number of victories and #9 all-time in bowl appearances. And Auburn ????????????
