In the SEC for 2018? Make your case here.

MSU:
Gave up 306 yards per game last year, 3.8 yards per carry for the season.

Return top 10 Defensive Linemen, based on bowl game depth chart. This includes 2 All-SEC performers, both of which are named to at least 1 pre-season All American list. Does not include Chauncey Rivers, who redshirted last year and who coaches are whispering may be better than Sweat.

Return 4 of 5 top Linebackers. Would be 5 of 6, but Gerri Green is moving to DE this year.

We forced 22 fumbles last year.

We had 36 sacks, 32.5 of which came from front 7. 29 of those sacks from returning front 7 players.

We had 86 TFL, 79.5 of which came from the front 7. 71.5 of those by returning players.

Last year was Sweat's first year playing in the SEC and he had 15.5 TFL, and 10.5 sacks. With a year under his belt now, he will only be better. Simmons requires a double-team. Sweat and/or Rivers will get a ton of one on one matchups to exploit.

Always gotta include Bama just as a formality but to be honest probably MSU.

Although LSU should field their strongest front 7 in a while, deepest for sure...I'd have to say MSU

Wasn't impressed with MSU last year. Auburn did whatever it wanted on the ground against them.

Rushing: 244
Rushing Attempts: 39
Yards per Rush: 6.3
Rushing Touchdowns: 4

That's why I said to make your case.

Everyone is saying who it may be, but no reasons why.

Its convenient to cherry pick our worst game.

The game after Georgia burst out bubble. Georgia is more responsible for the Auburn game than Auburn was.

MSU was soft the last two years. AU Game was over before halftime the last two seasons.

So no one has any reasons why their front 7 is better than MSU's?

I guess its decided then.

The answer (This year and for the past decade) is Alabama.

Thought you were going to ask about best DL in all of college football... I think we all know the answer to that one.
