If the rumors are true that UM knew about it but covered it up for a while then no coach worth his salt will no near that school.

Nah. They go for the big prize. The dude that made Saban his bitch while at Ole Miss!

If Deboer left I suspect they would target Cignetti.
Indiana has as much money, or more, than Alabama. Cignetti is 65 years old and locked in with a massive contract. He's going to retire there.

The funny thing is that Hugh would have a 100% chance of a 10 win season after 3 years at Bama. He couldn’t even muster a winning season at AU.

The difference between Bama and AU is like US vs Mexico…we’re close by, but one is a place you can actually succeed and the other is where dreams go to die.

If deboer left, which he isn’t, I could Saban stepping in for interim. Bama isn’t going to just turn around and hire a coach over night

Maybe you could hire Coach O or Brian Kelly, I know Bama likes LSU’s sloppy seconds

It wouldn’t shock me if he leaves. Less pressure, easier schedule in the BIG.

If this happens, it’s Sark, Dabo or Kiffin.

That may be the funniest thing I will read for a very long time. Freeze is a washed up coach and could have prime Tom Brady as QB and still lose by 2 to New Mexico State. He'd rather watch other people play golf, than earn his paycheck at his chosen profession.

Perkins jumped that ship, along with Curry and Franchione. Stallings almost got you the death penalty, and Dubose......well, he took out his average results on the secretary.

Just face the reality. Your next very successful coach will be the one who can emotionally deal with the sub-80 IQ fanbase that puts Roll Tide Willie on a pedestal.

Alabama isn’t hiring Dabo. His glory days are clearly behind him and he’s coming off a disastrous season.

I could be wrong, but didn’t all of these never even have 2 consecutive losing seasons? Pretty sure they all won 10 games and at least 2 won SEC championships.

We have to go to 3 ex coaches back in AU’s history to find the last one who had even 1 winning season
