Bama has two freaks on campus now taking part in summer workouts. Vandarious Cowan, and Dylan Moses, both LBs. Official freak is when a legit news site's beat writer for a particular team labels a player by name as being a freak. So, name your team's freaks and be able to back it up with official beat writer quotes/links if challenged.

A side note. It's interesting that in some cases the officially labeled freaks are not necessarily the best players on the team or the strongest, fastest, meanest, whatever. There may be more freaks yet to be named.

He certainly looked the part of a freakish WR in spring game.

Does it HAVE to be labeled exactly as "freak"?

freak criteria could vary from beat writer to beat writer.

Can be similar words, such as freakish, freaky, freak-like, freakin.

There's no freshman WR in the country who has anything on Higgins' freakishness. He reminds me of a mix between AJ Green and Devonte Parker. Can't believe Tennessee let him get away

His name is Noah Igbinoghene. He's also an Olympic level track athlete (both of his parents were Olympians)

Auburn always seems to have one WR on their team that no one wants to see. I can't remember y'all ever having a receiver corps that was really strong across the board, but you've always got that one guy.

For South Carolina I think Jaylin Dickerson will be a solid player as a true freshman and will eventually be an all conference kind of guy at safety.

But the only guy coming in this year that might make a big splash is Jamyest (Jamyiest?) Williams from Georgia.

He's one of those Darrell Green sized quick twitch guys. That said if he makes a splash it will be as a punt, and maybe kick returner.

Really hoping he can make a difference there. Everyone wants to play ASAP but he could make more impact for this team by being a lights out returner than anything you could expect from a 5'8" or so freshman cb/nickel back (he will play some on defense though, but we have some depth).

I honestly don't know anything about our freshman class. I make a point to not follow recruiting because there's something weird about grown men worshipping at the feet of a bunch of high school kids because they happen to be big or fast. Recruits have turned into a bunch of prima donnas with inflated senses of self worth. Releasing "top 5 lists" and stringing coaches along to increase the drama of their "big decision" on TV. Give me a break.

Probably our most underrated recruit. Had marks against him for academic performance and many thought he wouldn't qualify. Put his nose to the grind stone and not only qualified but was an EE.

He may not see the field much this year because OL is such a tough transition at the college level, but Alex Leatherwood is a freakin beast with a chip on his shoulder.

On the other side of the ball, remember this name:Isaiah Buggs. Not a freshman but a Juco transfer, but he's going to make people forget about Tim Williams.
