Good read.

My order of root... Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, A&M, Stanford, OU, ND & finally Tenner! (I would root for a roid rage beatdown in the band bandbox before rooting for Texass).

Notre Dame. Would be kind of cool for a Northern team that can't even practice until the season starts to win it all. I also just don't want an SEC team to win it. So Stanford as well wouldn't bother me. If it has to be an SEC team, give me Auburn. I'm a fan of Sonny DiChiara

The only team left that has the resume to deserve to win is Stanford. Everybody else is a bunch of nobodies.

After my team

Hogs, like their coach and rivalry with the hogs

OU, my mom is from OK, cheer for OU when not playing Ags

Auburn/Ole Miss, should be a fun 1st game.

I think I'm rooting for OU because I kinda feel bad for those guys, I live outside Norman and seems like no one even cares that much that they are going to World Series but you have heard about the softball team all Spring. I understand the love for the softball team but it just seems more people would be fired up about going to Omaha

Well done! That’s a quality post, my friend.

Not many like ND, but as you say, we are in their debt for slaying the dragon. This is truly a wide open CWS.

I want to see Auburn v TAMU

As a lifelong OU fan who has decades of watching OU teams I can say that OU fans are maybe the worst out there as far as front running.

OU baseball has been moribund for over a decade. Only gets about 750 fans a game in a tiny outdated ballpark.

The CWS spot came out of the blue because these are the same guys who weren't very good last season and for the first third of this one. No one cared.

If they win or make the finals of the CWS it will move the needle. Getting there made people kind of wake up a bit and yawn, but if they go 2 and Q then people will roll over and go back to bed.

At OU you better be absolutely elite if you want fans to show up. SEC fans are way better about supporting their non elite teams and that is one reason the games are enjoyable.

Have always respected and envied SEC fans for that.

It’d be Arkansas regardless in my case….but for this reason alone

Also would probably aggravate Tennessee fans.

It has to be Ole Miss.

The others have had some success in other sports over the years.

After the Ags, It's Ole Miss.

Best friend moved here to CST in 90s. He's from Greenville, MS and a staunch Ole Miss fan. We all adopted Ole Miss as our "other" team. Get's dicey a few times a year but I will always pull for them outside of playing the Ags.

Ole Miss or Arkansas. Auburn is too much of a rival for this Dawg to put them in the first tier of my fandom in this tournament. However, if they win it all I'll be happy for them. Same with the Aggies.

Texas - Texas has done enough winning this spring, thank you very much.

Stanford - The only positive I can think of is that maybe they can still nip Texas for the director's cup if they win. Not a good enough reason, sorry Stanford.
I think the Director's Cup is officially locked even if Stanford wins it all.

For Texas... this basically sums up our fanbase in 2022 thus far:

All the SEC teams, I can’t pull for texas to win it all because they are tied with LSU with 6 nattys in second place.
I can definitely respect that. Truth be told: I was the same way in 2017 and told my LSU friends in grad school the same thing.
Nothing but respect for the Tigers baseball program, don't get me wrong. But it's all a competition at the end of the day
