If your flying privately going into an uncontrolled field is way easier than an airfield with a control tower

Athens is close enough to the world's busiest airport that it really doesn't matter.
it's a bitch to drive from hartsfield to athens. i'd time my entry very carefully. it's a lot easier to get to auburn than athens from the airport. hell, there's never any traffic; who the frick goes to auburn?

Hell I couldn't fly into Fayetteville. Had to land in Bentonville and rent a car to drive through some Podunk town on a flippin 2 lane road. Access and egress is retarded there.
Was a pretty drive though.

I suspect most people do not fly into Fayetteville. There is a larger airport in the area.
Or you could always go here
Bill and Hilary Clinton Airport

So the Auburn-Opelika Airport doesn't exist? There are signs on the interstate.

Starkville and Auburn have the lowest city water pressure.

These don't even have a control tower. Fly into these podunk airports at your own risk....
Auburn, AL
The worlds largest airport is 60 miles away.

The clinton airport is in LR and like 2.5-3 hours from Fayetteville

Some of these have very limited air service, if any at all....
Athens, GA
Do some research. There are daily flights in and out of Athens.

wrong. Columbia, MO has a decent regional airport.

There is some full out retard happening in this thread. There are several things to talk shite about when mentioning Starkville, but air service is not one of them. We have three commercial flights a day (Delta) in and out within 15 minutes of our campus. It is hilarious that there are people in this thread talking shite about Starkville when they have to drive an hour and a half to get commercial air service.

I think beejon is needing to make up for some shortcomings

We flew into Tulsa for the A&M/Arky game. It was a piece of cake.

Tulsa is usually cheaper but almost two hours away. If you aren't traveling last minute, XNA isn't too much more expensive, is tremendously more convenient, and has service to nearly as many cities.

Memphis. No debate.
Unfortunately, thanks to Delta flying into MEM won't be as easy as it used to be. They have been cutting a ton of flights, and the crewbase will be closed soon.
