Ok and just as many 3 stars "are naturally gifted" but
hard work and dedication will sometimes seperate 3 stars from 5 stars.I honestly think you've watched Rudy

No,it's not and unless you're a recruiting coordinator
at a big time P5 school or an asst. Coach its nothing more than opinion that doesn't hold much weight.

but they are rare, few and far between.

Blue chippers are rare period. So ANY type of sample size you get vs 3 stars will be skewed.

Once again,WTF are you talking about?Matt Stafford,Aaron Murray and Jake Fromm were all blue chippers at UGA and some of the best "field generals"
the school has ever had.

Our team is more disciplined and as well or better trained than any team in America. They also almost all blue chip players.

One thing I've noticed about Saban recruited teams is that there are very few prima donnas. He finds players that fit his system and value his work ethic demands. I don't have the inclination to do it right now, but I'll guarantee you Bama's roster has plenty of high-3* players that Saban considers integral parts of his team.

Not really. We'll have a few here and there, but most of our non-prima donnas were 4 and 5 star elite recruits. You'll have a 3-star here and there that was a grade risk or a late bloomer with measureables, but the majority of our roster (and the leaders) were blue chip recruits. Saban just has a culture that makes it clear none of that shite matters once you walk in the door on Day 1. It's why he is the GOAT.

There are very few of them and they mostly ride the bench. Saban can do something even better than that which is pick and choose WHICH 4 and 5 star players he recruits.

Bingo.

It's why his team still has a blue collar attitude and he can keep his stars on the field for the most part.

I'd say it's in large part just the atmosphere that he creates... Even recruits have said "it's all business" there. Everyone has a job... do your job. Kirby is doing some things the same, and others differently... will be interested to see how that holds up over time, given that recruiting looks to be on par.

MsState was a botched call away from beating bama.

Because Bama had an off night. You still got steamrolled by both Georgia and Auburn. MSU had a decent team this year, but looking at their entire body of work, its obvious they were nowhere close to being good enough to win and SEC or National Title.

Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn were all 3 capable of winning the national title.

Bama did.
Georgia was oh so close.
Auburn beat both Bama and Georgia. By beating both they proved neither one was a fluke.

Obviously Auburn was the 3rd best of the 3 when you factor in they lost to LSU, Clemson, and UCF.... but when that team was clicking, they could beat anyone.

No one else in the SEC was ever close to having a shot of winning the SEC.

The glaring point of the op is showing what a dumpster fire program Tennessee has.

This post is almost as good as the one where you showed all the stats of the four playoff teams to show us how Bama didn't quite measure up to the other three. You could of saved a lot of time by just posting: Florida sucks and unless Mullen recruits much better they will continue to suck.

LSU in the house. Yet we are slipping right? At least according to the rant. Louisiana has way too much talent to slip off. We will get it right. Screw georgia. We will see you next year. Check out NFL talent while you're at it. See who leads that. See who leads all time in producing pro talent per capita, which is what matters.

Florida certainly slipped up recruiting. No doubt about it. Yet we had a New Years day bowl, Top ten finish, and two SEC titles.

So wonder what happens when we get back to the usual.

Wrong. What matters is wins and losses. We are college football fans. If your only victory comes on draft day then you are missing the point. I hope our guys go on to a great pro career but what matters most to most of us is how they perform on Saturdays and how many wins they post for our team.

The real story that is being missed here is how can Texas recruit so much but yet not perform?

Texas has a broken system of to many people in power it seems. To many heads think they are the program. I know Strong was battled against from the start. Was given incredibly low budgets for his coaching staff and helpers. Like insanely low for non coaching positions, which are still very important for the program to function properly.
